Shame - like all other reviews, it’s just not a great app

It really does feel like a pointless app. Constantly have to re-log in and set a new passcode. When you update your usage, you’d think it would update the projected amount but it doesn’t so you can never have a realtime understanding of how you are traveling for the month. I used to be with Kogan Energy and their app was great - it was so easy to enter your reading and straight away you will see your usage and how much it will cost you.
No improvements to app ever

THE SERVICENectr was only good because they use renewable energy and their rates did beat anyone. Now their energy buy and daily rates are comparable to industry top dogs but without the service of the best. The solar Tarif rate is surprisingly awful for a renewability orientated company. When I complained they said the industry is probably going to remove feed in tariff anyway. OKAY, weirdly discourage renewable energy then. So I left their 3.5cents /KWh and went to Origin’s 14.THE APPOver the 9 month period I was with Nectr, the app never improved. The usage data was purely projected based on prior and didn’t use my smart meter (Nectr rep told me). Eventually they removed the usage data as it was obviously useless.The sales rep who brought me onto Nectr originally told me there was usage data so learning all of the above was so frustrating. The app is also just terrible. It prompts me to create my passcode almost everytime I use it, and everytime i do, so it just forgets my passcode. The billing also comes crazy late.
Would be better if I didn’t have to log in every time

Every time I open this app I have to log in with my full email address and password. I have to type it all in (I know first world problems, but it’s a pain when I am used to being able to quickly enter saved details). Then it always asks me to set a pin which I assume is for fast app access, which is great, but when I come back to log in I don’t get asked for that pin, I get asked for the whole log in again.
Ok at best. Not sure why I installed it.
Quiety waiting
Like other reviews the estimate is important to me. Not one to offer solutions but surely the estimate isn’t harder than the (total daily average usage/daily average charge)*Days in Month. It won’t be exact but it’s better than showing my current monthly estimate of my usage to date.
