QLD Learner Logbook 4+

this app is honestly horrible for logging in trips. 1) I’ve tried to edit previous odometer readings as I forgot to add an extra digit and every time it says it updated and was sent to my supervisor it never actually changed the reading and remained the same. This is very frustrating because I need to submit this without any mistakes/errors. 2) I tried writing out all the right readings on my physical logbook so I can delete the ones on the app and then redo them correctly but the app doesn’t have last year (2021) as an option. This is also very frustrating because I have hours I need to log on from last year. Overall I am unsatisfied with this app.

This app is so handy because most days when people get their license they would obviously have a phone, with the app you don’t need a paper copy. The logbook as it can be downloaded through the app. You can also access your records n different devices all you have to do is log in with the same email and password you used originally. The app is one. The best decisions made yet. The best part is that you don’t have to calculate the amount of hours you have driven because the app keeps track of how many hours and how many minutes of driving lessons that you have done

I was given the app instead of the physical copy of the logbook and I can say it’s been a headache to use this app. The moment you create one error when logging your odometer, you’ll need to create a whole new Vehicle registration. Although minor and caused by human error, this becomes frustrating. Unlike the physical book, you can just make the adjustment and fix the error by hand. Not to mention, trips submitted for being approved can sometimes take ages to sync through and that’s with a high internet access speed. Overall, the experience hasn’t been a positive one
