Apple Watch one-Tap ordering = 5 stars

Just waiting for the Apple Watch app so I can order with a couple of taps and without having my phone on me.... 😄
Otherwise great app - some cafes are still learning how to prioritise the orders but even if I have to wait occasionally, I love that I can skip the ordering process, have my loyalty card go digital, and put in bulk orders easily.
Not sure why people are complaining about putting in a credit card payment method. The point of this app is convenience.. why would you want to have to go to the counter and stuff around with cash?

Handy, but…

I’ve used Skip a few times at recommendation of cafe near work. Got my first coffee free. Nice. The other day when ordering for myself and a colleague, I was pleasantly surprised to be given a 20% discount automatically applied. Nice. However, when I tried to pay, the app said something like, “sorry, your total is below the minimum amount for a single purchase”, or something like that. My normal single coffee order is $4. This order was $6.40, but rejected. Tried again. No go. Ended up ordering 2 full priced coffees just so we could order. Waste of time and effort. If you have a minimum purchase rule, apply the discount after the order is entered so you’re not messing people around. Don’t automatically apply a discount and then remove it. If you say “below the minimum “ at least say in the message what the minimum is. The whole point of the app is to make things quick, easy and as efficient as possible. This is not that. Otherwise, it works ok as long as someone is paying attention at the other end. Thanks

I like it, but coffee buddy has many issues with it...

I like Skip, I was an early adopter and at first I only used it to find the local Cafe who severed a Magic. But I now rely on it (and actually referred a few places to Skip) to get my coffee and breakie timely. I’d 4star Skip (some improvements over time, but still not the bee’s knees), but one of my colleagues slows us down by having issues with his payment options being locked out. He cannot change his credit card details thus he cannot order his coffee through Skip, making us late every time. So it’s an inconvenience for him but for us too. My coffee buddy says he contacted you but never got any response. He even posted a review but no response from there either. :(
