Create unique invitations and bring people together for life’s most exciting moments. Customize your invitation with one of your own photos, or pick from the background gallery to bring your event to life. Cohost with friends, keep guests in the loop, and capture every memory in a Shared Album. Whether you’re hosting or attending, Apple Invites makes it easy to get the party started.
Create beautiful invitations:
• Choose a background from a curated set of options or pick a photo from your own library to catch your guests’ attention.
• Customize the font of your invitation so it feels just right.
• Maps and Weather are automatically added so guests have all the details.
• Add a Link tile to share anything relevant to your event, like a registry, potluck sign-up sheet, inspo board, collaborative document, and more.
Plan and host together:
• Add cohosts so friends and family can join in on the fun, invite guests, and share updates.
• Sync events to Calendar automatically so you can easily keep track of what’s coming up.
• Post messages in the event to keep everyone up to date on last-minute details.
Invite and manage RSVPs:
• Invite others with just a link using any messaging platform.
• Guests can RSVP in the iPhone app or on the web from any device.
• Build anticipation with the countdown widget on your Home Screen.
Fuel the party with Music and relive it with Photos:
• Add a collaborative playlist so guests get to hear their favorite songs at the party.
• Include a Shared Album so everyone can add photos and relive all the best moments from the event.
Requirements:
• Apple Invites is available for all iPhone models running iOS 18 or later.
• Ability to collaborate with Apple Music Playlists requires an Apple Music subscription.
• Anyone can reply to invitations. Creation of invitations requires an iCloud+ subscription.
Love that I don’t need to rely on Facebook Events to officially invite my millennial friends to stuff (who also barely use Facebook to begin with). The app is a great first start and hopefully it picks up as we intend to use it. In using it for the first time, you can tell it’s missing a few features but I expect Apple to update that into future versions (such as adding a co-host for starters, or external links, and even forms let’s say you’re doing an RSVP and need polls for food or questionnaires, etc.)
Remove paywall!

Looks great but you can’t expect everyone having to pay to use a social app. Also would be cool if this can leverage Airdrop and Namedrop
Great Concept, forced to pay

Another great idea ruined by greed … why not have some premium features on a subscription basis it’s not like I can’t just text people individually anyways …
• Hosts can now more easily manually add guests to the event and mark their RSVP status, so your guest list stays accurate even when someone confirms outside the app.
• Invites widget now supports the extra large size to give you more options to countdown on your Home Screen.
• This update contains bug fixes and performance improvements.
