This is one of the best apps for sport because it tells you live scores and fixtures but it also tells you different sports which is good so you don’t have to go on another website to find it. I think it is a really good app because it is always easy to just find your favourite team on there, you can also follow your teams which is even better!
Unclear voting system
This app is definitely getting better and better, but when following live coverage, we are presented with 👍🏼 and 👎🏼 voting options for item of commentary... but it’s really unclear if we are voting “Agree”/“Disagree” about the opinion being expressed, or “Like”/“Dislike” about what happened in the sporting event.
I suspect therefore we end up with fairly meaningless user interaction/feedback... let’s just take the photo you put up of the poor mechanic Kimi Raikkonen drove over. You say “Let’s hope he is OK” and this currently has 103 likes and 53 dislikes!! Presumably this is 103 people who hope he is ok and 53 who dislike what happened to him... but how do we read the voting when a commentator expresses an opinion how a football match will unfold?
I think this kind of user interaction is fantastic, but don’t be so unintuitive about it!
No longer very good
As other have said, often freezes as it refreshes rather than doing it in the background. It can take ages to load content when clicking on a link, even if internet connection very fast. The home button, on the other hand, does not refresh content, so that if you are coming from, say, my sport, you still see last nights stories. In addition, there are fairly frequent spelling mistakes, it is very England centric so that the current coverage of the athletics world champs Doha does not feature any sports that don’t contain an English competitor or tell you who won if the English person came 4th, and the analysis pieces are often trite. It used to be the place I turned to for all my sporting needs, but it is now essentially just annoying.
