From time to time the app is slow to update. Today for example Cardiff were playing Chelsea. Early in the 2nd half Cardiff went 1-0 up, yet the scores said it was 0-0 and half time, it didn’t update until 10 minutes into the 2nd half. Closing the app and refreshing it did not work, so it was clearly a problem updating the scores. This happens every so often, in fact unless it is a Saturday, then the scores are slow to update.I also hate how for some leagues they show the fixtures and KO time, yet never update the scores, in fact it won’t be until a few hours after full time when the scores are shown.I’m sorry but this was originally supposed to be score centre app. If you have no intention of displaying the live scores for certain leagues then please do not bother adding that league to the list scores. I mentioned this is a review a few years ago and the problem remains.In all honesty flash scores is much faster and covers the live scores of many more leagues and has less clutter. If it wasn’t for them omitting GD in their tables then I would have stopped using this app ages.I would go as far as saying that for a score update app then flash scores is better, for live tables update this is probably more clearer (has GD).

When you go on to team lineups it doesn’t work quite regularly at the moment also when you look at lower league team lineups there’s the players that are playing but the formation and where there playing is all over the place, there’s no respect for the conference league which in my opinion is the most honest league and natural football, basically it’s a special tier of football and totally needs more detail like the others above, I follow all football and sky sports can surely have full coverage of 116 teams from “England” and spend less time on maybe another nation for instance or just something, basically there needs to be more focus and detail on all tiers of English football because when you look at the lower leagues now there’s a lot of big clubs with big or biggish fan bases that deserve updating just like all higher level football. On another note I rate every other aspect of your app.I love all aspects and areas of football and wouldn’t normally write a review but who knows you might take note of what I’m saying and myself and others may benefit from it #Millwallfan #respectalltiersofourbeautifulgamewhichwecreated

This used to be the sky sports football app (RIP), and it had a huge amount more in play statistics. If it’s now a general sports app i.e. I could get live updates on the cricket, rugby and football (amongst all other sports) scores all at the same time from the same app that would be the most efficient service available to date, sadly, it’s not and it’s not a ‘Sport centre’. If you used to use this to check scores and how your team was performing sadly it’s of no use anymore. The interface is better, however the false illusion of an ‘update’ via team lineups / match report notifications, considered to be sufficient, can easily distract you from the fact that you now only get 6 statistics on any 1 game; possession, total shots, shots on target, corners, offsides and yellow cards. Where has tackles, passes, key passes, interceptions, headers, saves, chances, clear cut chances, turnovers, blocks any many others gone?! These vital statistics still exist, I guess sky can’t be bothered to track them anymore.In my opinion, this has been branded as a ‘general’ sports app but it’s nothing more than a downgrade on the previous ‘football’ app. Having said that, this app could also be revolutionary with a few new inclusions / re-additions, such as other sports scores (sky sports cricket got terminated and I don’t believe there has ever been one for rugby, NFL, basketball, AFL, GAA, NHL, MLS etc. The icing on the cake would be the reintroduction of in-depth statistics, to allow supporters a better view of how their team played if they didn’t get a chance to watch the game.Please Sky, it’s easy to introduce these things and make a sport ‘dominating’ app here

Dont like the new version of this app. Seems clunky and slower to get to what you want. For one thing when you open it it just a opens on the fixtures from the last day you had looked at I.e if I had checked the scores on a Tuesday night and it was now Saturday it would open still showing results from Tuesday night and you have to manually scroll to the day you’re looking for, where before it would automatically open on that days fixtures/results. The other annoying thing is it automatically has the drop down for every single league set to open, so you have to scroll through every fixture in every league before you get to the league you’re looking for, rather than have all the leagues set to close by default and you can just open the ones you’re interested in. Lastly they don’t list the European/international results by groups anymore, so it’s harder to find results that are relevant to each other in terms of games that are being played in same groups unless you can remember every team in every qualifying group which I doubt anyone does. It was so much better before
