In the Sonicare app:
Brushing check-in
You will receive an assessment of your technique after the first time you brush your teeth. This will provide a starting point to track improvements to your oral health routine over time.
Real-time brushing guidance
The Sonicare app checks your habits, like if you're reaching all the areas of your mouth, how long you brush or how much pressure you're using, and coaches you with tailored advice. This coaching helps to ensure consistent, complete coverage every time you brush.
Dental Diary
The Dental Diary helps you track all of your oral health habits in one place – brushing, flossing, tongue cleaning and mouth rinsing – so you can spot trends and build a consistent routine.
Brushing Streak
The Brushing Streak feature helps motivate you to brush at least twice daily – morning and night – as recommended by dentists to prevent plaque build-up.
Dashboard
The Dashboard syncs with your Sonicare toothbrush to collect and display your brushing habits. You receive an easy-to-read report with insights to help support and improve your oral health.
Brush head monitoring
Automatically know when it's time to replace your brush head. Bristles wear out and start losing effectiveness after about three months, so having a fresh replacement ensures the best cleaning.
Automatic brush head reordering service
Always have a fresh brush head when you need one. As the Sonicare app checks your brush head's usage, the reordering service reminds you when you need a replacement, and can automatically place an order so it arrives just in time. The brush head smart reordering service is available in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Japan.
Connect with Apple Health
When you link the Sonicare app to the Apple Health app, you can track your brushing habits along with the rest of your health data.
The a[p is a very good idea, but it becomes extremely distracting. You tend to end up watching the timer instead of concentrating on cleaning your teeth. It could do with an audible beep every 10 seconds, so that you know when to switch from cleaning the outside edges of your teeth, to the inside edges. It should also allow time for the user to actually switch cleaning areas. By the time you’ve moved from cleaning the outer edges, to the inner…or when moving from molars to incisors, at least 1 second has elapsed on the timer. There is a slight pause every 20 seconds to let you know to move areas, but this should be reduced to 10 seconds to indicate what I’ve said above.Either that, or there should be a "custom" section where the user can pre-program exact;y what it is that they need…not just select from a very narrow set of parameters. If this were to introduced, then the app would be perfect.

I love my Sonicare daily routine
Ette38
I’ve been using the Philips Sonicare for a few weeks now and I genuinely understand why so many people recommend it. The vibration feels powerful but still gentle on my gums, and my teeth feel noticeably smoother and cleaner after every brush — especially around the gum line. The timer feature also helps me brush properly instead of rushing through it.What stood out most to me was the battery life. I barely need to charge it, which makes it really convenient for everyday use and travel. The brush itself feels premium, lightweight and easy to hold without being bulky.I was slightly worried it would feel too intense at first, but after a couple of uses I got used to it quickly and now I actually prefer it over a manual toothbrush. I can definitely see a difference in how fresh and polished my teeth feel afterwards. Some reviewers also praise Sonicare models for being effective yet gentle on sensitive gums and for their long battery life. If I had to give one downside, it would probably be the replacement heads being a little expensive, but overall I think the quality and cleaning performance make it worth it.Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to improve their oral care routine while still having a comfortable brushing experience.

Needs Apple Health integration
Simple PC
The brushes are great. We recently moved to Sonicare from Oral B due to the battery life. I’ve been using my brush for two weeks with no signs of a recharge required unlike the 3 day pain I used to experience. I love all things connected, it’s just such a shame this doesn’t (unless I just haven’t found it?) integrate with Apple Health! My other health apps do so with one single app I can see blood glucose, blood pressure etc and report it all to my doctor.I understand toothbrushing my not be as vital as the other items, but we want to care for ourselves with that ability for simple overview. Please bring this to the app or share with me how I do this. Thanks
Broken (still broken)

Edit: it still crashes after the latest updateEdit: like so many other people the app crashes as soon as it connects to the toothbrush. Maybe time to use the EU rules to ask for a total refund. Pretty poor for this not to be fixed for so long.It works pretty well for me but there’s a few very basic options that would be so easy to add and make this so much better.- option to alternate start teeth each time. You have the most toothpaste at the start, so why always start at the same place every single day?- button to ‘extend’ time in a zone. So while it’s ticking down you could tap a button on the app to add another 10 seconds. It often gets it wrong where you’re brushing and I waste a lot of time either moving so it realises or brushing again.- option to add extra time for biting surfaces. Brushing back teeth outer/inner AND biting surfaces in the time it gives properly is not easy.- extended time. 2 minutes is the MINIMUM recommended brushing time by dentists NOT the exact time. There should be an option to extend the time to 3/4 or even 5 minutes. This is made worse by the app only using 2 minutes for deep clean mode too.I noticed that if you need touch up in 5 zones the brush continues to the 6th while the app says you’re done. I wonder if you took a shortcut in the firmware to fix it to a 2 minute cycle on Bluetooth and that’s also why deep clean is also limited to 2 minutes.
This version includes a redesigned real-time guided brushing experience for Premium Sonicare toothbrushes to perfect your technique and ensure a complete clean. It also supports next-gen Sonicare connected toothbrushes, plus adds performance enhancements and bug fixes.
