I love this app so much. I go on it at least three times a day, maybe more. It catalogues not just your progress but if you are doing all you can for yourselves to help you with mental health. You have cute pets who have cute micropets, they learn things daily (at 52, I have learnt so many new things too) they travel too so it’s global learning sometimes. You keep to routines to keep yourself busy or you have the option to do nothing if your issues call for that too. It teaches you how you treat yourself in comparison to how you treat others, helping you recognise toxic patterns of behaviour that you are displaying and change what you can to better yourself. This app has helped me more than you know and I will continue to use it. There is part of it where you can journal how you feel, it keeps it safe too, knowing you can offload things and not hold negativity and it goes away so you don’t keep reading and repeating that negativity. The things it helps with are numerous and all you do is look after and nurture your cute tiny bird to grow and learn in a really cute game. Building a home and safe space. There is nothing finer and it can be for so many age ranges. If you need to help yourself get or keep healthy physically and mentally, I highly recommend this app. You are important and this app and your finch bird help you realise that and the goals you can reach when you invest in you. Thank you to the creators of this incredible app 💕
I love Finch

I have never had a more helpful self-care app. I downloaded this app in late 2022 out of curiosity. It helped, but I was already quite a productive person and didn’t really need an app to keep me on track. In 2024, I hit a depression. My life flipped and I needed something to help me. I spent every day rotting away on my phone and some days didn’t even leave my bed to shower. I got better, but depression doesn’t just go away. A year later, around August this year, I was low again. I searched everywhere for a self-care app that could just help me, even a little. Finch came to mind. During my first week, I found the app to be silly, just something entertaining to get me through simple tasks. But now, as seasonal depression is slowly starting to arise again, this is my favourite app on my phone. You can set as many tasks as you want, set notification reminders to complete, and get a cute little bird. And all for free! There’s even little features that I find to be adorable. For example, if you set your mood to ‘Bad’, I found that the energy I get from tasks (set to 5) goes up by 2 (to 7, for me) which is such a considerate detail because knowing when you’re low, it’s harder to get these tasks done, so you get a little bit more of a reward for doing them.Thank you to everyone who worked on this app and still works on it today. Sometimes, that little bird is the only reason I get out of bed.
Thank you for helping me put me first - and my finch, Mochi.

I downloaded finch a couple of days ago when I was looking for an anxiety help app that I haven’t tried before, because I was on the verge of tears at work because my anxiety was so bad. No other app has helped, I end up using it for one day then deleting it because I didn’t actually feel encouraged to use it or like it has a better purpose. My little finch Mochi, has encouraged me to take care of myself and put my self care first, because you take care of your finch by taking care of you. My anxiety has improved so much and I get excited to complete tasks, to watch my finch grow and see what she discovers when she’s on her adventures. Its given my self care a purpose. I’ve never been so encouraged to take care of myself before, I feel this sense of care over Mochi and ultimately, I’m caring for myself. Not only that, the app has so many different activities that there is so much to discover that can help you that you’ve never thought of before. I love everything about the app, I’m so excited to see how it can develop, it’s already so great. One thing I would suggest, is I would love to play games with Mochi, as games tend to distract me when my anxiety is bad, it would be a cool feature if you can actually do things with your finch as such. I love this app so much, thank you for helping me, it’s such an innovative, creative idea! ❤️🥺
