I CANT BELIEVE THEY MADE AN APP!!! YASSSS! My school set a lot of seneca tasks as gcse revision last year, but I had to do it at my desk because I have a computer and I thought the mobile browser version was a bit clunky and buggy. And while I was sitting up late at night, I always though, this would be soo much better if I could do it in bed. So I am very happy there is now an app that I can have on my phone. Also very convenient for when I have to do tasks on my way to school or in the lesson because I forgot to do them for homework tehe 🤭. I have used the app for around 20 mins and it looks great! Much less buggy than the browser version.

Generally the app is perfect for my revision and has been a godsend in organising and learning the essentials for my exam. Only trouble is that it’s currently glitching. The keyboard has changed format and so when you’ve completed a question, the keyboard remains covering majority of the screen and also the check button too. I’ve used the enter button which helps occasionally, but usually after an encouraging gif you need to be able to press the continue button, which I’m not able to anymore. It takes a few minutes of furious tapping and fiddling to get it to work, so isn’t really efficient when you’re trying to revise. Sometimes I end up pressing the enter button to elicit some response and it goes ahead and interprets that as me not having answered the next question, which I lose points from. Seneca please fix this!

I downloaded Seneca last year but had previously been using it when it was asigned as homework from school. I loved the way i could easily run through entire topics in less than an hour as well as be provided with questions to test my knowledge. But most importantly i LOVED cram mode, in which you are basically bombarded with continuous questions and are able to pick the topics you are quizzed on. To my horror, after 19 questions i was redirected to a page that read: ‘unlock cram mode’. Why? It was free before, and i was able to use cram mode for hours answering hundreds of questions at a time, so why make it a purchase now? Right before exams, it just isn’t great. I loved Seneca and all its free features, better than any other revision app i had tried, but now my whole view has changed. Bring back FREE cram mode !!!

If you’re wondering whether to download Seneca, DO IT. It’s the best revision app I’ve ever had honestly and I love that it tracks my progress because I like seeing exactly how much I’ve done. I also love how we have a school leaderboard which is really helpful because i’m extremely competitive and I want my school to be doing better than any other. Seneca is so amazing and I’ve been using it since the start of year 10. I would advise buying premium during exam szn but honestly it’s fine without. Seneca is amazingly designed and I would not think twice about recommending this to others!!
