Live Departures: Browse and view bus stops on the map, explore upcoming departures, or check out the routes from a stop to see where you could travel next.
Journey Planning: Plan your commute, trip to the shops or night out with friends. With an upgraded planning engine it’ll be even easier to plan your trip with NCT.
Timetables: We’ve squeezed all of our routes and bus times into the palm of your hand.

Love the app but I have one suggestion.
As above, I love the app but I would like the map to orient itself to which ever way the phone is pointing. I have lost count of the number of times I’ve started walking towards a bus stop to then discover I am walking the wrong way!

Don’t buy a gift ticket for a child!!!
My mum was taking my children to the cinema in town so I thought I’d make it easy for her and purchased a all day under 19 gift ticket for my 8 year old. Came to activate it this morning and needed a photo, fine. Then we need to take the photo and her birth certificate to the ticket centre...in town. She’s already left the house so had no birth certificate. Luckily the driver let her on the bus, although he looked at her gone out. She had to walk down to the market square in the torrential rain with 2 kids, in the hope they could see she was 8 and activate the ticket so she could get home. No, they needed proof that the 8 year old wasn’t actually 20. I appreciate there’s policies but come on, surely she could have shown a bit of common sense and compassion!!! She ended up ringing my dad to come collect her as couldn't face trying to get on the bus again and didn’t want to pay out of principle!! Complete shambles!!

Hey, really sorry to hear about this, When purchasing tickets that require verification the app does warn you that you will need to verify before activating, If you need a hand with this please get in touch with us via the feedback form in the app.
Doesn't work on latest Mac OS so not for iPhones
Downloaded this ten days ago and had nothing but trouble. Wouldn't work first time I turned it on, just showed a map. Deleted app and redownloaded, opened properky, got a 24 hour ticket to work. Next time I tried, same problem. All I could get was a map and timetables. The support by email replies after 24 hours, but had no solutions. Told me to contact the developers via the feedback link on the app, but I can't get to that, so I'm leaving this review instead. Pity, as, if the app worked well, the 24 hour tickets would be good value. So it's back to a Robin Hood card, when the machines are able to connect...
