Version 1.1.0
A Flexi Season ticket is a perfect solution if you need to travel a couple of times a week at peak time Monday to Friday. You can get 8 days of travel in 28 days - any time between two stations, so there is no need to buy a ticket every time you travel. These are available to travel from the 28th of June from redspottedhanky and no need for a smart card.
They couldn’t be easier to use:

• On the day of travel, before you board the train, activate your pass through your redspottedhanky app

What’s happened to Red Spotted Hanky?
This was always my preferred booking site, until now. I have tried for 3 days to book a series of tickets for a trip around England. Just about everything that could go wrong went wrong- rejected my PayPal account, refused to recognise station names, declined payment on a card that it had just accepted, couldn’t arrange collection at station of my choice......and many more. Total nightmare. I now have (assuming they arrive) managed to book 3 of my 5 tickets. I will go elsewhere to book the remainder.
Unless this site is radically improved - it used to be so easy to use - I will never use it again and would advise anyone thinking of using Red Spotted Hanky to look elsewhere.
Hugely disappointed, frustrated at the hours I have wasted.
App is fine, customer service is top notch
While the app is pretty basic and not as slick as some of the competitors, I have found the service from Red Spotted Hanky to be excellent. I have had a number of occasions over the years where I have had to change or refund tickets due to user error and the team are always quick to respond and super helpful.
Review drops a star as paying with Apple Pay is a bit problematic and often requires a few tries!
