Use your Apple Watch to AUTOMATICALLY track your sleep!
Sleep++ takes advantage of the motion and health monitoring capabilities of your Apple Watch to measure both the duration and quality of your sleep. The better you understand how well you are sleeping the more you are able to make changes in your routines to benefit your rest.
My goal is to provide every Apple Watch owner with a free automatic sleep tracker that is simple and clear to understand. For each night you get a straightforward report of how long you slept and how restful you were during the night.
Simply wear your Apple Watch overnight and each morning Sleep++ will analyze your sleep and give you a report about how long and restfully you slept.
If you want to have more precise control over the start/end time of each night recorded you can also use manual sleep tracking. This is also useful if your nightly routine makes it difficult for Sleep++ to determine when you went to bed.
1) Wear your Apple Watch while you sleep.
2) Tell Sleep++ when you start sleeping.
3) Tell Sleep++ when you wake up.
Sleep++ integrates with the Health App providing you a safe and private way to share your activity data with Sleep++. This data is used for automatic sleep tracking. You can also optionally have Sleep++ save your Sleep Analysis into your Health database after each night.

Really Good, However...
Changed from a Garmin watch, which has sleep tracking as part of its app. Surprised to find that this kind of thing wasn’t part of the the Apple Watch’s, so looked about and read that this was a good app. I have to say it automatically tracks my sleep and transfers data to the health and activity apps problem free. Now the however, I had a restless sleep one night and was awake several times, this app didn’t pick this up or register it at all, claiming I had had a full night’s sleep. Have tried another app running along side this, the other app recorded when I had woken up
I have to agree with all the other reviews on here about the lack of accuracy. 2 nights ago it said I was asleep from 7pm until 6:30am. At 7pm I was watching TV with my wife until about 10am. I then got up, took the dogs out for a final toilet stop, then locked up the house, said good night to my children, brushed my teeth, then went to bed.. according to the app I had been soundly asleep with no moments of being awake.. how can it possibly detect periods of deep sleep and REM if it can’t detect that I am actively moving around the house and garden?!
There is no doubt that wearable tech has come a long way, but when the data is so unreliable it adds no benefit at all..
Have been using this app less than a week but will be deleting it..
In the main this app is very good and pretty accurate in what it does. However, like all algorithm driven apps there are blips in it’s performance. Whilst in the main the app records my sleep patterns pretty accurately (which is the reason bought it in the first place) it does not accurately account for the time I an awake and moving. It is for that reason I’ve removed a star as in all other respects it meets my needs.
