Use your Apple Watch to AUTOMATICALLY track your sleep!
Sleep++ takes advantage of the motion and health monitoring capabilities of your Apple Watch to measure both the duration and quality of your sleep. The better you understand how well you are sleeping the more you are able to make changes in your routines to benefit your rest.
My goal is to provide every Apple Watch owner with a free automatic sleep tracker that is simple and clear to understand. For each night you get a straightforward report of how long you slept and how restful you were during the night.
Simply wear your Apple Watch overnight and each morning Sleep++ will analyze your sleep and give you a report about how long and restfully you slept.
If you want to have more precise control over the start/end time of each night recorded you can also use manual sleep tracking. This is also useful if your nightly routine makes it difficult for Sleep++ to determine when you went to bed.
1) Wear your Apple Watch while you sleep.
2) Tell Sleep++ when you start sleeping.
3) Tell Sleep++ when you wake up.
Sleep++ integrates with the Health App providing you a safe and private way to share your activity data with Sleep++. This data is used for automatic sleep tracking. You can also optionally have Sleep++ save your Sleep Analysis into your Health database after each night.
Fix for a bug where the daily sleep stats would be shown as Pink bars after a reload.

Really Good, However...
Changed from a Garmin watch, which has sleep tracking as part of its app. Surprised to find that this kind of thing wasn’t part of the the Apple Watch’s, so looked about and read that this was a good app. I have to say it automatically tracks my sleep and transfers data to the health and activity apps problem free. Now the however, I had a restless sleep one night and was awake several times, this app didn’t pick this up or register it at all, claiming I had had a full night’s sleep. Have tried another app running along side this, the other app recorded when I had woken up
The most streamlined sleep tracking app.
I’ve used this app for years with the Watch tracking and it really helps me manage my sleep. Left to my own devices I naturally drift nocturnal for some reason! So it helps me keep things in check.
I think I’ve tried most of the other sleep apps on the App Store at this point. And I always come back to Sleep++. Main reason being the nice simple user interface that gives you all the info you need without too much extra fluff. Also the fact it’s not a subscription is a big plus (the subscription fatigue is real), but if Dave added a tip jar I would happily Chuck a few more quid his way every so often!
My only complaint up untill now was the lack of sleep stage tracking. But once you update to the new Watch OS it has been added. Yay! 😍
Good could be better
I really want this app to work for want I need it to do.
With Apple having better sleep tracking on IOS 9 the app needs to work more in partnership with Apple.
What I like about the app is being able to read the sleep data created using the Apple algorithm and view it with my heart rate and respiration data.
If the following improvements could be made that would be great.
1. The application pulls the Apple sleep data into the app even when auto sleep tracking is turn off in the app.
2. Select what sleep data / algorithm you want to use if they turn on auto sleep tracking.
3. If you turn on auto sleep tracking the ability to chose / turn off if it analyses previous days and if so which days.
Basically I have installed the app and if i turn on auto sleep tracking it analyses previous days too. Which I didn’t want it to do and it’s a real pain to remove the data from the health app as you have to uninstall the app to them permanently delete the data. If I just delete the data on the app and in the health app. After so long it reappears in the health app.
