I use the STV Player throughout the day on my iPhone, however for about 4-5 days now the connection has been disturbed. I am accessing other apps without problem so feel this is solely an STV Player issue. Normally I can watch without any break in connection but there has been constant disruption and now today, I’ve only managed to connect for approx 30 seconds.I know this is very unusual as I use the player every day normally. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Hope this can be resolved soon

Can’t use my external speaker on my AppleTV with this app. The ONLY app that I have found that is incapable of streaming to an AirPlay device with my AppleTV. I can set the AppleTV to AirPlay but nothing comes through the speaker from this app.Attempted to watch Live TV “from the start” with the app, as soon as you hit the first advert, you can hear the advert but the programme continues on screen meaning everything is now out of sync. Pause? Nope. Resume? Nope. So after 3 or 4 attempts at trying to watch the programme I gave up and watched it on BritBox. BritBox is not perfect, neither is Netflix or Prime but nothing, NOTHING is as bad as STV Player. I also seem to have 2 versions on both my AppleTV boxes. Why? Basically same app with a different icon. Both exactly the same terrible app. Have now uninstalled both and reinstalled from App Store. Still same issues exist.The app also doesn’t seem to remember what I’ve watched so it’s difficult watching a TV Series, you have to remember you last watched Series 7 Episode 6 about 3 weeks ago. The ONLY streaming app that doesn’t seem to remember or mark items you’ve watched. I’d rather use ITV Hub but I’m not allowed to watch the exact same TV shows shown on that as on STV.

Triple check to see if you can get your programme on another app. Had to give a star to give a review. Did not work at all on my MacBook after hours of trying. Fed up of systems not working and no explanation. Just kept refreshing so couldn’t watch my programme. The one star is for it working on my tv but ridiculous in this day and age that these websites don’t work on MacBooks. Couldn’t even access a help page to make it work on the MacBook and did multiple shut downs and restarts.I then finally managed to get it to work on my phone app and I had to watch 2 minutes of adverts and then a full 10 minutes of adverts after that because I fast forwarded my programme to where I was since they don’t save it! Wanted to rewind a bit cos I’d missed some but didn’t dare because I knew I’d have to watch more adverts! What’s the point in having a streaming service when Yoh need to watch more adverts than you do on normal live tv? Nevermind the fact that the adverts are constantly on repeat.

What’s the point in an app for the “television” that doesn’t let you scrub backwards and forwards through content!? It shows a time progress bar at the bottom, sure, but I’m not sure what kind of mystical rain dance needs to be done to actually use it as an actionable piece of user interface. Really, truly, honestly the most infuriating experience I’ve ever had with an Apple TV app. It’s like an iPhone not being able to make a phone call. Particularly bad as the app never seems to let you pick up from where you’ve left off, so your options are watch the entire 45 minutes again to catch up to where you left off or just burst into flames from the rage that trying to do something as monumentally complex as FAST FORWARD INSIDE A VIDEO APP. Please, STV, give your *video playback application* a way to *navigate through the video that’s playing on the Apple TV*. It’s not a lot to ask for. And while you’re at it, the ability to AirPlay from the iPad app would be cool.
