Have difficulty connecting at times. It would be good if the blinds could actually sync with the actual sunrise and sunset of your location rather than a fixed timer.

I have had reprogram my blinds so many times I’ve lost count! The app even managed to somehow delete ten out of the thirteen blinds we’ve got, so they had to be all set up yet again. If you need to change the timer settings, you’re in for fun and games too. Once you’ve spent ages setting all the timers, the app then goes off on a frolic of its own, opening and closing some blinds and not others and then opening them at the wrong times as well. The app is beyond useless, it’s time wasting and a VERY ANNOYING PIECE OF RUBBISH! The battery on the motors doesn’t last very long and they have to be recharged about every three months, which is a real performance and takes hours for each blind to recharge. The handset is also difficult to program and not very good. It’s such a shame as the blinds themselves are lovely and good quality. It’s a real shame the app is such a useless piece of junk. It’s also a huge shame that they’re not compatible with Alexa and cannot be operated remotely. They will of course operate if you’re away and the timer is set, but given how unreliable the app is don’t count on them opening and closing when they should. I’d have given them no stars at all if that was possible. Such as shame.

Ok, I understand people being critical, the app is not so well written and not so user friendly. I work in IT so I’m tech savvy, but that’s the point the app should be idiot proof and user friendly, but it’s a mess. No doubt written by a techie. Saying that, I’ve had zero issues with the app or blinds. Once programmed and scenes set they work flawlessly. My beef is with the product, yes it needs WIFI, but understand that maybe for a new product, but the battery! What a bad design. Why not use a usb-c connector and have the battery be able to snap on and off to plug in nearer the wall to charge, instead of using a connector straight off a circuit board from 30 years ago and having to drape a mains charger 10 feet. There, I’ve had my rant, but been generous with the rating.
