We’ve rebuilt the Vue app from the ground up so it’s speedier, sexier and smarter than ever. Discover what’s on at your local Vue, browse screening times and book your favourite seats – all while on the go. Not sure what you’re in the mood for? Browse what’s currently showing, as well as what’s coming up.

There’s no more messing around with passwords or long card numbers – you can now log in using Touch ID and we’ve made it easy for you to scan and save your payment cards. And unless you're wearing an invisibility cloak, we’ll use GPS to locate your nearest Vue and tell you what’s showing.

If you say it’s okay, we’ll send you offers straight to your phone, chosen just for you. All our regular deals are up for grabs, including Mini Mornings (where kids and adults both pay £2.49), Meerkat Movies and discounted tickets on Super Days. Experience big screen intensity with our IMAX screenings or step inside the action with 3D. You can also upgrade to a VIP or Recliner, the best seats for full-focus, full comfort entertainment.

What’s going on?

Have they redesigned or overhauled the app since some of these were posted? Because I’m experiencing ZERO of the problems people are moaning about - and rightly so if what they claim was true.
But it doesn’t seem like those issues are still a problem as I have been using it regularly for the past couple of weeks & it’s what I expected it to be. I like it a lot tbh. The info is clear, it’s stable with no gangs or crashes & haven’t been kicked out to my homepage.
Also page loads are instant & is quick when navigating through its content.

A few 1-star reviews were actually putting me off downloading it as it must have had some pretty terrible design faults but that was a year ago & installed it to see if it deserved those comments. LOL and behold, as I mentioned, nope. Nothing. Had I tried it & I’m using it regularly as VUE is my closest cinema & seeing how a motorbike accident 5 yrs ago has left me disabled, it is by far the most accommodating cinema in my city.

Anyway, I might have missed bits of it but what I’ve used so far, it gets a good review from me - and a 4 star (4.5 if I’m honest)

A really bad app (& site)

Like the Vue website, this app shows a tendency to focus on design instead of functionality. Can’t book tickets on app. Process breaks down at payment, with error message saying something in ‘background’ not working. Disabled VPN on phone (iPhone 11) as I thought it was the problem, with same result. Was able to purchase ticket on Vue website with same card and VPN on. Then despite Apple Wallet clearly showing as option on app, app says it dan’t save ticket to wallet with no explanation. There are bigger problems in the world and it’s not that serious in the grand scheme of things. I just hate the way big companies are so disrespectful and take customers for granted. Vue site & app need a simpler, not black(!) background design. This awful black background is not only unattractive, it makes it hard to read the screen and find things. Darkness in cinema is one thing but it does not work on devices. App & site need to be simpler to use and need to deliver what they promise.

More info and more options please to get tickets in the app

The app should note when the films are selling out fast, or sold out completely rather that given an error message when trying to book tickets for those films, so that it’s clearer to understand why people can’t book tickets for that particular film

Also the app should allow users to use their Lloyds bank vouchers that people get to actually get their tickets rather than people going to the tills and actually queuing and maybe missing the film as it seems the staff members have to much to deal with on the tills itself and assisting other customers at once
