There is always a good cross section of articles, news and podcasts, I log into this app many times every day and it keeps me up to date with national & world news!Can’t be without it!

The app is in general fine and does what I expect of it. Unfortunately as a left handed person the configuration of the app to return to home page if you touch the left side of the screen is a daily irritant as I keep exiting out of article is am reading when using my left hand to scroll resulting in me having to go back into the piece and find where I was. I wish there was an option to disable this shortcut for those of us who are using the left side of the screen for scrolling

I am and remain a loyal independent subscriber but the performance of the App since its upgrade is not good. (I)Several times I’ve been forced to reboot the App because it just gave a persistent error message saying “something went wrong”. (ii) you can’t search the app like the website, the functionality of the App is poorer than the website so I just use the website and then consume what I have to on the App when I’m redirected for the “subscriber only articles” (iii) it regularly fails to load ads or loads them slowly so they end up appearing in the middle of reading a article.

Have you tested this app with people who are left handed or those you predominately use their left hand to scroll? The amount of time wasted is so frustrating. Every time I scroll (with my left hand) it brings me back to the home page and then I have to try find where I was. I have started to use my right hand and it doesn’t happen but I want to be able to use my left hand. Pls fix. Otherwise it’s a great app.
