This app is excellent in the way it gives you prompts to keep your diary or journal up to date I would recommend this to anybody who would like to keep a really interesting journal about all the different situations we go through during the day brilliant five stars and more, no problem.
Not tied into Health
Severed Infinity
When seeing this demo’d at the Apple Event I had assumed it was tied into Apple Health and the “Mental Wellbeing” category, more precisely the “State of Mind” entries by giving a better input method and data association. Needless to say I am disappointed. Hundreds of journalling apps out there not just on iOS and I would rather stick to my physical journal or even the notes app as these journalling apps do not tie into or serve any meaningful value that a physical journal or the notes app doesn’t already serve. My thoughts were to be able to track my mental health like I can my other health stats with great detail, purpose, and ease of use. Having to do manual input in multiple locations (journal app, health app, and a physical media) for no added benefit means I am out. It’s not for me and due the lack of intended features I expected and the ability to easily log through other more convenient tools I rate this poorly. Disappointed.
Somewhat Accurate for taking notes but is missing something…

The app itself Is Good for writing notes & building a journal that you yourself as the editor have access to for example you have access to: making a new journal deleting a journal & editing a journal whatsoever there could be a bit more effort into the app like adding options to highlight text & share journals to other people to read
Disappointed
CrankyCat-Z
I was excited that Apple finally renovated their own Journal app. However, I was quite disappointed after using it. I personally like to describe something and then attach photos afterwards, it’s like I can explain each photos if I like, but with Journal, I’m not able to do so. All photos for an article is grouped all together on the top and need to review them separately after attaching to the article I wrote which made me feel a little bit odd.
