IDFC FIRST Bank FASTag 4+

I have been using the IDFC Etoll app for a while now, and I must say it has made my toll payment experience seamless and hassle-free. The app's user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate and perform transactions quickly.

I purchased a new car and along with that a Fastag from IDFC First Bank.
It worked for a few days and then stopped abruptly. My mobile app shows that the FASTag has been hotlisted and has a balance of Rs. 2094 to my credit. Since then, for the last few weeks I have been trying to identify the issue and solve that. Neither the dealer nor IDFC First Bank has given me any solution. Meanwhile for travel I have pay double the toll amount at the booths on the way. The officials whom I contacted said that it could be a problem with the software. The problem that I have is the bank has apparently started this service as a bait to gather potential customers but is not serious in understanding their inconveniences in case any issues crop up. Very immature management! I shudder to think that I was attracted with the rate of interest advertised by the bank and was about to invest my life’s savings in the bank.

Most valuable features like tag replacement, vehicle RC update etc. are either not available or have been placed at a location which cannot be found easily. Even now, when I did not intend to provide review, I was automatically diverted to this page despite not even touching any option on the app.
The cherry on the cake is taken by their customer care email and phone number - Call is never picked up even if one waits for more than 20 minutes on hold, email never gets any response.
Overall the app reflects the DNA of the organisation. I am now going to change my FasTAG to any better company who understands the need of the customer and values them as assets.
