I submitted a claim for my car's infotainment system after a frontal accident impact. Due to the front collision, the infotainment system completely stopped working. The screen is slightly bent and internally damaged, but because there is no major visible crack on the display, my claim was rejected.They failed to properly assess the impact damage and simply dismissed it without a fair technical evaluation.What is most disappointing is the drastic change in their attitude. Their behavior and support were extremely polite and responsive until I purchased the policy. After that, everything changed. Now, they keep rejecting claims for foolish and senseless reasons, finding excuses instead of solutions. It feels like genuine concerns are ignored rather than investigated properly.I used to recommend GoDigit to friends and family, believing it was a reliable and customer-friendly insurer. Unfortunately, my recent experience has completely changed that perception. Instead of standing by their customer during a difficult situation, they chose denial over accountability.This has been one of the worst service experiences I have had so far. I strongly advise others to choose their insurance policy wisely.Otherwise, you may end up regretting your decision when you actu need support the most.

Unjust Claim Rejection and Negligence by GoDigit: A Firsthand Experience

I had submitted images of a damaged panel caused by an accident, but the claim was unjustly denied by GoDigit, stating it was “non-claimable.” This decision was made without a proper analysis of key factors such as geographical conditions, manufacturing details, and prevailing weather at the time of the incident. They simply concluded that the damage was due to rusting, without acknowledging that the panel’s age was unknown or considering the fact that it had been raining continuously.Importantly, the region in question—Odisha’s coastal belt—is known for high salinity in the air, which can cause rapid rusting and corrosion. Despite this, the claims team failed to factor in these environmental realities. It is evident that GoDigit’s claim executives either lack the necessary technical knowledge or are deliberately dismissing legitimate claims without conducting thorough investigations. Their approach appears to be designed to reject valid claims under the guise of vague and baseless justifications.I previously recommended GoDigit to others, believing it to be a trustworthy insurer. However, my recent experience has been deeply disappointing. I now feel compelled to share that, based on my firsthand experience, GoDigit has proven to be one of the worst insurance providers, prioritizing denial over diligence.

Claim Rejected Despite Doctor Clarification – Poor Customer Support

Extremely disappointing experience with Digit Insurance.My father was recently hospitalized due to severe stomach pain. After proper diagnosis, doctors confirmed a gallbladder infection. The hospital provided all necessary medical documents and even issued an official clarification letter to the insurance team. The treating doctor also explained the case directly to the insurance representative.Despite all the required documents and medical clarification, Digit Insurance rejected the claim without giving a proper justification.When we contacted customer support to understand the reason, the experience was even worse. The representative was very unprofessional and instead of explaining the issue, he said “Don’t unnecessarily raise your voice on the call.” We were only trying to understand the reason for the rejection during a very stressful time for our family.Even after raising multiple complaints, there was no proper response or support. When I informed them that I no longer wanted to continue with the policy, I received an email stating that I am not eligible for a refund because the insurance was claimed, even though the claim itself was rejected by them.This entire situation has been extremely frustrating while dealing with a family medical emergency.I strongly recommend people carefully review the claim process and customer service before choosing Digit Insurance, as my experience has been very disappointing and negligent.

I had submitted my two-wheeler for repairs through Digit Insurance after filing a claim. After completing the claim formalities, I dropped the vehicle at the authorized service center expecting the process to proceed smoothly.However, the experience turned out to be extremely disappointing. The Vehicle Repair Order (VRO) from Digit was issued only after 12 days, and that too after repeated follow-ups from my side. My assigned claim coordinator, Mr. Ganesh Pendhari, was largely unreachable during this period. Many of my calls went unanswered and were not returned, forcing me to constantly follow up just to move the claim process forward.Due to these delays, the overall repair process took 35 days, which is far beyond a reasonable timeline for a two-wheeler insurance claim. Even after the repairs were completed, the service center faced further issues while trying to finalize the claim settlement. When they attempted to contact Mr. Ganesh Pendhari regarding the bill sent to Digit, their calls also went unanswered. Eventually, his phone was found to be switched off, which further delayed the delivery of my vehicle.This entire experience caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration, as I had to personally follow up at every stage of the process. Such lack of communication and support from the claim coordinator reflects poor service standards.Overall, this has been a highly unsatisfactory experience with Digit Insurance. Based on this experience, I would not consider choosing Digit as an insurance provider in the future.
