Connect without being connected with the car.

Though the connect app is pretty comprehensive but it as of now misses the basic of being truly connected. Like Honda has Honda connect and Suzuki has Suzuki connect where real time car monitoring is possible, unfortunately in Toyota it is not possible. There you can not only see the location of the car but locate the car in a parking lot, manage speed limits, specify zone of travel, get informed of towed etc. I truly wish Toyota brings those and becomes truly connected.

Though the connect app is pretty comprehensive but it as of now misses the basic of being truly connected. Poor app performance and reliability

I recently downloaded the Toyota app to track my vehicle's performance and maintain its reliability. Unfortunately, I have been very disappointed with the app's performance and lack of functionality.One of the main issues I have encountered is the app's poor performance. It is often slow to load, and frequently freezes or crashes altogether. This makes it difficult to access important information about my vehicle. The app's poor performance has been a constant source of frustration for me.Another major issue I have encountered with the app is its failure to provide my vehicle's service history. When I try to access this information, the app simply displays an error message. This is a critical feature for tracking my vehicle's maintenance and ensuring that it stays in good working order. The app's failure to provide this information makes it nearly useless for me.Overall, I would not recommend the Toyota app to other vehicle owners. Its poor performance and lack of functionality make it more of a hindrance than a help. There are likely better options available for tracking your vehicle's performance and maintaining its reliability.

Even worse is the customer service, they are extremely courteous but cannot seem to follow what needs to be done ... time to delete this probably...
