Kochi1 App is a one-stop application for all your travel and payment needs in Kochi. The new Kochi1 App is much more than just booking metro QR tickets. A resident or a tourist, young or old, anyone can travel and explore Kochi city with an all-in-one platform at their fingertips. The App will allow you to plan end-to-end trips within the city using journey planner; Quick-book tickets in just a few clicks; view bus and metro timings; explore the city; get notifications of local offers & updates and manage the Kochi1 card.
Things you can do with the Kochi1 App:
• You can plan end-to-end trips within the city and get to know the fastest, cheapest or the shortest route via metro/bus to reach your destination using the Journey Planner
• Whether you already have your Kochi1 Card or not, you can buy QR ticket on-the-go via the Kochi1 App and pay using Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking or Kochi1 Card
• Book your QR ticket within 2 clicks using Quick-Book for your frequent routes
• Make your Kochi1 Card secure by enabling / disabling contactless and online transactions and managing their limits
• Explore local Offers, get latest updates and find nearby station in few simple steps
• Check metro and bus details such as timings, fares, route-map, etc.
• Seamless registration process with multiple options: Kochi1 Card details, Axis Bank customer ID or as a completely new user
• Secured login using mPIN or your fingerprint
• Manage your Kochi1 Card - You can view your balance, statements, recharge or even block your card
• Recharge Kochi1 Card with your preferred mode of payment – Credit/Debit Card, UPI or Net Banking

Ratings and Reviews
Not updated; poor performance
The app allows ticket purchases only till Petta even now. Sadly the developers seem to have not been notified of the new stations being opened. The app hardly works on 4G network and almost always requires wi-fi connectivity. This is inconvenient to anyone on the move & will discourage regular use. Pull up your socks guys. Get more friendly and simple!

Utterly disappointing!
The app is not at all user friendly. Login and Sign up screens are a mess! Phone number input field is blank even after entering the number. Doesn’t read OTPs correctly. The ticket booking works sometime and gets stuck at other. The QR loading works only if you are at luck. I got lucky to go through all of these and got a ticket myself and got on the metro only to find myself trapped at the exit gate because the app crashed and not letting me even login to it. My friend had to take another ticket in the que again as his didn’t even let him enter the station and marked his ticket expired before he could even get inside. Almost missed my train because I was super late. Not installing the app ever again… NEVER AGAIN!!!

There’s nothing slower than this app on earth
Sluggish apps like this cannot be tolerated in fast transit systems like Metro due to the speed and volume it serves. It takes forever for the app to load the ticket and do any other operation on it. Worst feature - takes 2 minutes to book a ticket that expires in just 30 minutes. What’s the purpose of online ticket if that needs to be booked only from the station premises - factoring in the slowness of app and the heavy Kochi traffic?
