STEALS CARD INFORMATION
They clearly cite in their “policy” that in case of an unusual delay in the delivery of your order you won’t be charged any cancellation fee and inspire if receiving an automated call after TWO hours for cancelling the order which was DELAYED by two hours, they didn’t cancel it and disabled by COD after 2-3 days because they can track your card activity, I made a few online transactions so they deliberately and astutely disabled by COD. This is HARASSMENT, first of all they are sending stale food and forcing it down our throat which is a HEALTH HAZARD then they put you on “PROBATION” who are they to even do that? They punish you?????? Once they see some good behaviour they’ll lift the ban hahahaha Who is the owner? He will soon start delivering orders himself on a cycle, even after repeated using my card for 5 orders they still haven’t enabled my COD and I’m lodging a complaint in the cybercrime department now for manipulation and harassment and fraudulently following our card activity by deriving sensitive information through elicit means, they don’t adhere to their policies and then PUNISH US? They hire old aged people to deliver our orders that too on cycles… how much did they invest? Zero amount? Can’t they PROVIDE them with bikes like Dominoes and other Delivery outlets? They don’t pay them they don’t hire more people, they don’t provide them with vehicles they steal our card info unethically, all this is has to send the owner behind the bars
WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT
placed two orders on 27th October 2020. The first order was from thickshake factory. By the time I go the order, it was completely melted!!! They didn’t pack the thickshake with dry ice. It was like drinking water! And when I raised the issue, your chat executive told the best he could do was to give a refund of 52₹. That thickshake was around 170₹. I was expecting a full refund coz that thickshake was NOT AT ALL consumable!!
And coming to the second order, your delivery executive guy cancelled the order because I wasn’t answering the call. The address was 100% clear. And moreover the delivery executive who delivered the thickshake just a few minutes ago delivered it perfectly eventhough I didn’t answer the phone. And also, I live in a township with 3000 flats and swiggy people aren’t allowed inside. They should just handover the package at the security counter. There are ALWAYS many swiggy people in front of that counter. This delivery executive just wanted to have that order do himself.
Two orders back to back WORST EXPERIENCE. Now eventhough I want to order food online I’m not even opening swiggy because of these instances. I wanted to forget this issue but I’m not able to!! I’m extremely disgusted with your service. And I’m not exaggerating when I say that I am really VERY DISGUSTED WITH SWIGGY!!! You guys have the WORST customer support. Your chat executives also fail to understand what’s the customer’s problem.

Been using swiggy for months and the past few times I’ve encountered delivery executives not been assigned and a 30 minutes order becomes almost 50 minutes. But the bigger issue is the customer executives are not available or just give generic responses with no solution.
Once a delivery executive didn’t move for twenty minutes and the customer executive spent almost 10-15 minutes to just figure out why he wasn’t moving and to assign another delivery boy. The order took more than an hour ten minutes for a nearby restaurant. Despite me expressing my helplessness and frustration there was zero cooperation from the customer executive. It made me delete the app and I was very close to posting it on social media. Especially since there is just no way around it to lodge a complaint.
I’m not sure if swiggy is just getting lax because of its successful run or just plain blind to the offers and success of its competitors. This kind of attitude is what leads to competitiors overtaking a business.
Nonetheless, I’m highly disappointed and will not change my review or rating unless I see a marked difference.
