The Honda Connect app is useful for checking vehicle information and basic monitoring features. However, the app performance can be improved as it sometimes loads slowly and experiences connection issues. The user interface is simple, but certain functions could be more responsive and user-friendly.I hope Honda will continue to improve the app’s stability, speed, and overall user experience through future updates. It has great potential to be a very helpful app for Honda owners.

I get it sometimes the apps crash and we get to download the new one. But lemme tell you how convenient is the apps. I can cool off my car before I went back home after the car was parked under hot scorching sun (Malaysia weather, duhhh). Then I got into my car and drove back home. Once I was travelling over the sea, I can monitor my car from another side of the country just to make sure my car is safe!

The app takes a long time to start and sometimes it does not start at all. I have to use the physical key instead which defeats the purpose of having the app.Another major issue is the door-lock status. The app sometimes shows that the door is unlocked even though the car is actually locked. This makes the information unreliable and causes unnecessary worry about whether the vehicle is properly secured.Honda should improve the app’s startup speed, connection reliability, and especially the accuracy of the vehicle’s door-lock status. The app is supposed to provide convenience and peace of mind but currently I cannot fully rely on it.

The Honda app remote start feature has given me a disappointing experience. There were several occasions where I pressed “Start Engine” through the app, but even after walking to the car about 2 minutes later, the engine had never started at all. The remote start function did not work properly and created a frustrating and inconvenient experience. There were also times when the app displayed a “Stop Engine” message unexpectedly, which made the overall remote start experience confusing and unreliable.I hope Honda can improve the app stability and remote start reliability in future updates.
