INSERT TO-DATE BILLING DURATION (BY PERCENTAGE) AGAINST TO-DATE CUMMULATIVE BILLING AMOUNT

Currently a page in the online bill shows a horizontal chart of the percentage of cumulative usage amount to-date against Budget set by the User.

This is not fully helpful to the User bcoz he cannot readily see at a point in time if he’s going to exceed the Budget he has set (unless he works out himself the number of days already passed in the bill month-range e.g. 17/3 to 16/4 and he’s at 1/4 …. 16 days i.e. ~ 52% of the billing period. I think this is against the whole idea of you having the customer-friendly online bill.)

Let’s assume you did have a chart of Duration of Days by percentage of the Billing Period Range (BPR), together with and inline with the cumulative usage to-date graph, the User can know to-date consumption rate and control the usage in the coming days of the BPR.

Simply for example, on 1st April, the User’s Duration of Days of the BPR is 52% as shown, and the cumulative usage is 50% say, then he’s at the budgeted trend (using straight-line forecast). If he’s cumulative usage is already 80% on 1st Apr, then he’s tentatively going to bust his budget.

If you do not include the chart of Duration of Days by percentage of the BPR, it is not readily assisting your Customers in their decision to manage Usage Cost.

This app thinks you are dumb.

Here are some of the little things why I said the thing I said. It will remind you that if you switch from months to days, it will ALWAYS remind you to pinch and zoom. ALWAYS!!! Solution? Put a box to check “never to see this again”. Here is another one. When you change from “RM” to “KwH” it will jump back to the latest day. ALWAYS!!!! Solution? Just change the RM to KwH only. NO NEED TO JUMP BACK TO THE LATEST DATE. Since the digital meter is so sensitive that it picks up ever kW you use wouldn’t it be better if we can monitor the time within 24hours which will tell the specific time I use certain appliances that have caused the spike in electricity usage be better? Let’s just say in hours. Here is another hint on saving electricity if you do not know by now. Every plug that is still plugged in still leach certain amount electricity. They will say it is only small amount but remember it is plugged in 24/7. If it is ok paying the free electricity leach for TNB, by all means go ahead. After all you are the master of your own finances.

VPN USER

As a dedicated user of your application and someone who frequently travels and utilizes VPN services, I have encountered an issue when attempting to access the app while my VPN is active. I understand the importance of safeguarding my data and have taken precautions, such as using a VPN, to protect myself against potential data breaches, which I have unfortunately experienced in the past.

I would appreciate clarification regarding the compatibility of your app with VPN connections. Specifically, I am curious to know if TNB collects any data that is incompatible with VPN usage. As a user, I believe it is within my rights to take measures to protect my online privacy and security.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your response.
