So, I got to hear about piggyvest from an educational platform, but as a Nigerian conscious about the security of his money; skepticism clouded my views and trust. But I decided to give it a go and trust me, I have gained a lot with just saving my hard earned money. The coins gathered when saving and the referral bonuses are quite helpful and boosts one’s confidence with the platform. Not only have I been able to save, but invest. The piggyvest platform introduces investment opportunities and you get to see initiatives you usually wished to come your way if you have money to invest, you don’t even need to have loads of money to invest, you can buy an investment plan per unit, which is relatively cheap compared to what is offered outside the platforms. I have also learnt about things in the agricultural space and transportation space I didn’t know about. I hate onions, but I have found something to love about it, which is investing in its production in North-west Nigeria. Funny how I can’t eat it but I can make money from it. I heard about PiggyVest from my kid sis, that was a few years back, I opened the account but didn’t really do much on it cos I was skeptical. Fast forward a few years with husband and a kid, started saving and locking up my money when I wanted to save for a cause and I have not looked back since!!What made me leave this review is the exceptional and prompt customer service I received today. I finally got around to doing a change of name to ensure uniformity across board and when I sent a message to the customer service department, I was given a fairly long wait time but then responded even before I expected and told me all I needed to effect change and less than 2 hrs after I provided all they needed, it was done!! I can’t lie, I was very happy cos I expected that they would frustrate me and make me shout small. Lol. PiggyVest, una dey try abeg no cap!!

Transparency on point, fast customer service and care, accessible to all! But give options for one to save without asking me how much I want to safe, I mean I should be able to use safe luck in a way I can always top it up until the agreed tenure. Please stop the unsolicited restrictions, some of us use piggy to keep business fundUPDATE: they’re ok. It’s just this their savings options that holds your money for ransom. If you’re not in need of your money randomly, you’re enjoy the app. If you’re saving for your business you’re actually loose money to penalty fees on withdrawing your own money that you didn’t agree to. They said the reason is something along the lines of erm “encouraging you to save’ But over safest app.
Good Savings App... but a snag!!!

Ever since I started using the PiggyVest App, I must confess that my savings culture had improved dramatically, I have been able to earn interest from my savings and the idea of paying a penalty for arbitrary withdrawals has kept me in check. My challenge with the App however was when I needed a statement of account to present at the embassy for a visa. The statement of account PiggyVest furnished me was grossly inadequate as it did not show the source of monthly deposits which I was making neither did it show the accounts to which I made my scheduled withdrawals. It cost me the visa and I have been forced to start saving with my traditional bank. As a savings approach, PiggyVest is great. But if you intend to use its statement of account for visa application purposes, I suggest you think twice.
