Description

Congested hospital Emergency Departments (EDs) lead to longer wait times and poorer patient health outcomes. Emergency Q is designed to empower non-emergency patients who are seeking urgent medical care by offering them a live
view of forecast wait plus treatment times for non-emergency patients at their nearest participating hospital Emergency Department compared with the nearest participating urgent care (Accident and Medical) clinic. Emergency Q is designed
to put patients at the centre of the decision making process about where they seek medical care for non-emergency conditions, based on the provision of readily understood, real time data. Patients can also use Emergency Q to learn
what an emergency medical condition is to help them make informed choices about where they seek urgent medical care. Emergency Q let’s patients save time by joining the queue at their after-hours medical provider from wherever they are.

Words too big

iPhone 12, latest iOS. Words too big, therefore questions cut off. So can’t answer the second to last yes/no question, as I can’t read the question. Please update to make text adjustable and improve accordingly.

Not doing what it’s meant to

This app didn’t seem to work for me at all. Before heading out one afternoon I checked to see which A&E would be best. My usual place said 1 hour waiting time, so I thought that sounds great. I also used the feature to ‘book in’ before heading out. However when I got there the waiting time was actually 4 hours and had been since the morning. They also didn’t seem to be aware of the app at all and so my ‘booking in’ was redundant. So I don’t see the point of this app at all now.

Crashes

Once I enter the patients details and complete the community services card question the app crashes. So I reopen the app and try again but the same thing happens. Also, the font size on my iPhone 12 Pro is so big that I can’t see the full question. I have no idea what the question before the community services one is because I can only see the first three words. Great app idea once it starts working however.
