Works as advertised.
I don’t usually write reviews, but my 5 star rating and willingness to write this is a testament of my satisfaction for this countdown app.
As the title suggests, this app works as advertised.
A small banner of advertisement does not affect the usability nor features this app, but if you want to get rid of the advertisements, they charge a reasonable one-time fee to get rid of ads for good.
The app is not overloaded with unnecessary features, instead it provides simple-design icons that gives you an idea of what you are counting down to even without looking at the event’s title.
With additional tools like adding to the widget or sending you reminders, all you need and expect from a countdown app can be found here.
If you need a countdown app that does what you need it to, look no further than this.
Potentially Amazing
I’d say of all the apps I own, a counting app is the most crucial to me. I use it for all kinds of things! This app has a great interface but it lacks crucial features like counting UP (since a certain day) not just counting down. Right now, I mange that with a negative day count here. Check out T-Zero. It has count to the second if you like.
Also, it sorts your timelines for you but I’d like to have the option to manually arrange my timelines.
Other than these two glaring features that I miss here, I felt this app has a beautiful interface on top of meaty features still and I would love to use it primarily if the features are added eventually.
Widget
This app is has a simple design and I love it. Would be great if they would make widget available on iOS 14 so can simple scroll my homepage. Another thing that would make this app perfect is to add a description box for each event. Ads aren't bothersome👍
