Latest update not good
Latest update (May 2024) removed timer function, which is too drastic for those of us trying to use it to keep track of our wearing.
Also, most of the functions are now moved to web-based instead of in-app (such as photo upload, smile simulation, keeping track of sets etc). Format of photo that it now takes is changed and looks warped as a result, and you’ll be unable to compare side by side with older photos.
Please revert functionalities to in-app please, it’s a much smoother interface. And maybe make the timer an optional function?
Treatment monitoring, more information and shopping!
Always found the previous app a little restricting because I wanted more information about braces in general.
Very happy now that I can find tons of articles on the app that addresses all my concerns. Also, while shopping on the app, I came across the Sonic toothbrush and I this is honestly a gem! Zenyum should make this product more prominent to everyone else!
Overall I love the new app experience and layout and it’s way better than the previous one, well done Zenyum!
Lousy Updated App 2024
The old app is way much better and simple to use. I relied heavily on the timer function which the new app removed it. The words are so small to read. There used to have a reminder slider to switch your new set but they removed it too. The photo upload also does not allow you to retake or save the photo. The photo also became elongated which makes it hard to have a good comparison. Photos are so small and unable to enlarge like the old app could. Dental appointments in the app were also not updated to the latest one. Wonder what was the team thinking about when changing the app interface so drastically. They said to improve our experience but it definitely was otherwise!
