Circle Medical is great until you have a problem with the care you received. The company is designed to attract new patients and provide access to appointments. The company is not designed to troubleshoot problems occurring from those appointments unless it’s something like a quick prescription change. There is no number to call and one won’t be given to you if you ask. Circle medical uses an automated internal messaging system that tries to resolve your issue without letting you communicate with a circle medical employee. After you dance around the automated bot system, you will finally be put in contact with an entry level Circle Medical employee. All that person can do is deliver mail. These employees are pleasant but they are just message delivery pigeons. They will be your only point of contact. If you’re calling about a billing issue, your billing claims only have a certain window of time before nothing can be done. One of the issues I had was a billing claim and circle medical dragged their feet on it so hard now I have to file an insurance claim issue with the state because the billing claim window closed. I reaally needed circle medical’s help, but they just kicked the can down the road until time expired. In summary, circle medical is fantastic unless you have a problem resulting from one of your appointments. Then you might as well talk to a wall about it or type out an app review. Hopefully someone at circle medical sees my app review and pretends to be sorry for my unfortunate experience. I think that will fix everything and then I won’t remember how many hours I put into trying to get circle medical to address my issues. It’s been fun wondering if anyone was actually looking into my issues and having to follow up with circle medical.

Great at the start

I’m a busy working adult. Most are that’s why this appeals to us. That being said it was good in the beginning . 124 for the first video. Then you have to have an over all wellness exam that’s a separate cost, sure, then the third cost of the actual visit they prescribe a trial for you. Great subsequently I had an appointment a doctor canceled on and I was billed for it. Then another doctor followed up(had to pay for that interview / exam as well ) and gave me my first 30 day supply. Turns out no one carried that prescription in my immediate area. I got them to change the pharmacy that one ran out(no fault of Circle at this point) . So I give up and just keep up with daily life as usual. I follow up assuming since I never got the script filled have that same provider simply rewrite that prescription since it never got filled. They said I have to be evaluated again and be prescribed it all over again. I explained I just need it rewritten because it was never filled, they then brought in legal jargon about being under billable hours not about filling the prescription which was a service paid for by a customer. They refuse to re write it/ fill the script that I never received with out me paying for the services again. I’m glad others have had a great experience, just know that I have been charged about 500 dollars for 16 generic pills, of 5mg Ritalin and nothing more, at this point and it does not feel good. They will not help with out me paying another 124 minimum. Be aware. Good Luck

These doctors take the time to look into my medical history and prescription history to validate that I am in fact an honest person struggling with ADHD. I have a wonderful relationship with my primary dr through circle and he remembers me every appointment, showing that he is not just doing this for the money. When I forget to book out in advance I am able to choose from a variety of other providers in my state who are just as helpful and thorough. The only issue is that CVC won’t fill controlled prescriptions through circle med, at least they wouldn’t 6 months ago. Which is fine because everywhere else will. The only downside is when you need to message your doctor you often need to go through a “care team” and that can be a lengthy process . But once you develop a relationship with your primary, depending on the provider, they may message you to start communication directly between the 2 of you.

Horrendous app - these reviews must be fake

absolutely horrendous customer service (long wait times, constantly being transferred from one agent to another without them briefing each other on the context of the chat, request tickets being auto closed before anyone reviews, etc etc.) as far as prescription refills - also horrendous. my provider failed to get the pre auth docs to my insurance in time 3x in a row so at this point i'm just considering going to another doctor because i can't wait any longer for my refill. as far as medical care, also horrible. i booked an appointment for a well visit and the provider was unprofessional and just sounded like he was reading a script of questions he didn't understand. i in no way feel like i'm actually getting any well rounded or even baseline medical care here. app experience -terrible. messaging feature is clunky and spread across two tabs (both of which are not user friendly). i'd avoid this app/service at all costs really. it's a microcosm of everything that's wrong with the medical industry, really.Update: the doctor also ordered the incorrect lab work codes for me (he requested a Pap smear - I am a cis male) so I likely will have to go get lab work done again to test for the correct codes due to their mistake. I told the circle provider & customer service 5x that the wrong codes were requested and they’d have to call quest to update to the correct codes to prevent me from having to go back for repeat bloodwork, but surprise surprise they didn’t answer in time! Unbelievable
