Now with iCloud sync, iPad and Dark Mode support! Money Forecast allows you to track your finances with litte data input only! Simply enter your current account balance as well as (recurrent) transactions (e.g., salary and expenses) and see how your balance will develop over the next few weeks and months. If the prediction was wrong, simply correct it by specifying the actual balance at a specific date, which is used as new basis for further predictions then. This way it helps you to plan your financial situation, and also to decide if an investment should be made now or better later, for example. Also, this app allows you to avoid situations where you forgot about some outgoing transactions and end up with an overdrawn account balance. The best thing about Money Forecast, however, is that you do not need to constantly add new micro transactions - just enter the balance on a particular date, create estimated recurring income/expenses and correct either the balance or actual payments later (for a particular date). First use instructions: 1) Enter the current balance. 2) Add recurrent or one-time transactions (i.e., income and expenses). 3) See how your finances will develop over the next few weeks, months, and years! 4) Adjust the actual account balance for specific (future) dates. This will correct wrong estimations. 5) Adjust the actual value of a recurrent transaction for specific dates only. Simply double-tap the recurring entry in the trends view to adjust (by creating a 'Transaction Exception')! You can manage several accounts with this app (e.g., for several people in your family) and you can also use a PIN (or Touch ID / Face ID) to protect your data! Since the app synchronizes via iCloud, you can also see/edit the data from several devices and restore your data after a complete re-install.

Awesome - almost perfect for my needs! I would like the ability to adjust the date on the “adjust estimate” piece. I would pay for add ons and I would also pay for the ability to get rid of the graph (I prefer a calendar view). I touch this app daily (if not 2-3 times a day). After more than 15 apps, I chose your app and one other (Cashflowy); I use both simultaneously only bc the other allows me to change the date on the adjustment (so I use it just like a check register) and I can see a calendar view with available cash. This app team is very responsive - many do not and that’s helpful and respected.

Exactas what I was looking but.......when you delete an existing recurring transaction, it wipes out past recurring transactions, thus adding a credit or reduction in current balance. This is utterly ridiculous. When you change a recurring date, there is no option to just change one date, it changes every other date. I wish there is option to change one date like how on calendars, you can just change one event like a meeting. I cant believe that developers have not figured this out. In addition, decimals dont auto populate and if you wipe out a number to try to just change a number, it wipes out the whole number, which is freakin annoying because you have to remember the whole number again. Utterly ridiculous. Now, if all this is fixed, it will get to be the closest perfect app.

This is a prediction app that works based on (recurring) transactions saved balances and is designed to work with a low limit of data! Of course it will affect the predicted trend if a recurring transaction is added or deleted, but simply add a fixed balance value for a specific date, which immediately corrects any prediction from that date on. Moreover, you can change any value of a recurring transaction by using the „Exceptions“ feature (lower right button). We also use it every day on our own and enjoy the simplicity if this app (in contrast to many other data-hungry budget trackers).

The app works well for seeing a projected cash flow, but it lacks when tracking finances with current information. If I have a transaction scheduled, I would like the ability to mark it as scheduled for payment. I would also like the ability to adjust the date for a single occurrence of a recurring payment, for example if I pay it early. I also agree with other reviews that a calendar view would be good. I once used a previous app that allowed swiping to Delete or Skip a scheduled transaction. That method was very efficient.

I don't know why this is so hard and many people are paid on the 1+15. 2) No way to edit pending recurrent transactions if there will be a one-time change in the amount. 3) No option to automatically insert a decimal and 4) No way to control backup locations such as iCloud, Dropbox, etc.

You can easily enter a transaction that occurs every two weeks: either use 'weekly' with 'every 2 weeks' or use 'daily' with "every 14 or 15 days'. We are working on enabling the edit of a pending recurrent transaction for one-time changes. As for the 'decimal-issue': please could you explain this in a bit more detail?

There are a few improvements that would make it my go-to. 1) A recurrence pattern for bi-monthly income.... I don't know why this is so hard and many people are paid on the 1+15. 2) No way to edit pending recurrent transactions if there will be a one-time change in the amount. 3) No option to automatically insert a decimal and 4) No way to control backup locations such as iCloud, Dropbox, etc.
