I think the app works well overall but it has a couple of problems. I like that it shows you were the apartments are, when they’re mapped. It saves a lot of time. I like that you can prioritize your route, but I’ve had problems where stops get marked as completed before I mark them. Its caused me to miss some stops on my map. Its especially a problem if you accidentally close the prioritization function because the stops disappear. The other issue I have is when I use the navigation button in the app to find an address and it tells my navigation app that the house is in the alley or on the street behind my stop. I think the apps hands off map coordinates instead of street addresses when it navigates. Those 2 issues are a big deal to me and I feel they need to be addressed before I can give it 5 stars. There’s been plenty of times that I’m in an unfamiliar area and next thing you know I’m being sent to an alley or the street being the house because of where the pin is.

We used to use an app called “Package Route.” It was far easier to understand and so much less cluttered. There weren’t a million shapes for what the stops were, just colors. Pure green meant it was a delivery. Green with a purple outline meant it was express. Blue meant it was a pickup, blue with a purple outline meant it was express pickup. If multiple things were going to the same address, instead of a stop number in the node, it would be a hashtag. Tapping on the hashtag would bring a drop down menu showing you every stop at that address. It was an extremely simple system, the address nodes were actually on the right locations and you didn’t have to wonder if you were actually going to the right spot or you were going to be a few miles off. Package Route updated your stops almost as fast as the scanner without you having to manually close them out and they accounted for ALL your stops you complete by graying them out unlike Beans. Sadly Package Route was bought out by a worse delivery app development team and immediately shut down. Because you know, can’t have competition that actually knows what they’re doing and all. So my company said Beans was the next best app. It can be if they look to Package Route for their design and functionality. After all, they’re not using it anymore.

This app is great have no issues with it whatsoever. I’m a manager for Fed ex ground so it works great for my guy and me till they pump out a new update. Everytime they update this app it breaks something. For example did the latest update now all my dots are the same color like why. On another route an apartment we have pinned point great, not anymore because the update ruined it somehow. Stop messing with the app when it run great every update breaks it to where it’s unusable almost. Please fix these issues and stop messing with updates.

For pretty much any App out there, if it has a five star review it’s most likely paid for in order for the App in question to seem as good as possible for potential customers. Just like any other business.Beans route does work at times to get the job done.The problem is that it does not work correctly 100% of the time and whoever worked on the GPS portion of the App was apparently drunk at the time.Bugs in the program cause issues with closing stops for no reason, leaving them on your screen long after closing them out. The main screen(s) often glitches showing multiple pieces of information at once.It’s also prone to random crashes. While the crashes are annoying to deal with in the middle of the route while driving, they are also a blessing. For unknown reasons these App crashes allow the App a restart. Often these crashes/restarts clear up any and all bugs.As for the GPS. The in App GPS works fine for major highways and roads, smaller roads is where it starts falling apart.Connecting roads that have no connection, falsely instructing turns on roads that do not exist, and way too often giving instructions to turn down the wrong road to reach a location.You can setup the App to switch to the more accurate Google Maps instead, however, this becomes a pain very quickly when having to bounce between Apps.The App does work though… well enough to be a passable grade in a Programming Course at a small College.
