In five simple steps, you can register for your Mississippi mID: 1. Download the app and set permissions 2. Verify access to your phone number 3. Use your device camera to scan the front and back of your driver’s license or ID card 4. Follow the app’s registration steps to take a selfie 5. Set up app security and you’re good to go! Please note: Mississippi Mobile ID is considered an official state-issued ID, serving as a companion to your physical ID. Great if it works. The Face ID isn’t working. My camera works just fine. Except on this app. My password is the same password as my phones login. I have used this passcode before to log in. The password isn’t working now and the Face ID isn’t working now I’m not allowed to try to login. I need my id.

Edit: seems like they fixed it finally.Didn’t send me the activation link. When I finally received it around an hour later it had expired. Tried again, it finally worked, but then the camera is blurry in the app so it had trouble scanning my ID and face. Now it doesn’t work at all. Crashes at startup.

Come on Mississippi! If we’re gonna use this lets be able to use it any way our ID is used. This also means at traffic stops! I want to be able to leave my wallet at home. That’s the con. The pro is that this is a step in the direction of the future for MS and I’m happy to use this over a physical copy. Pretty neat in my opinion and very easy to use!
