How is the app THIS bad?

With so much influencer backing, I cannot believe how frustrating this app is. It’s a hit and miss whether the app will find the device so that it can connect, regardless if I turn the device on before or after opening the app. Usually, after several tries, when it finally does recognize there is a device, there are so many clicks before you are actually connected so you can move on to the treatment. Some of those clicks require going BACKWARD to the home screen, connect, select the (only) device… this whole process is rather annoying.After that, I noticed, it will only flash 3x when the treatment is done if I return to the app. And if I skip this step, I don’t think it records it in the calendar (I’ve used it nightly, but it still showed days were skipped somehow).Lastly and most importantly, since this last upgrade, I’ve been not able to find where battery life is displayed. It’s died on me a few times now because there is no indication that it’s low or needs charging, or even just the status.There are very few, but important needs for this app, and it does all of them (except for selecting full face/treatment zones) exceptionally poorly. It seems the app was recently revised since I bought the mask, and this new version is not any better than the last. So disappointing especially given the cost of this device.

For a $300 product, it would be nice if the app that controlled the mask actually worked. First, it took three attempts to connect the app to the mask. Second, after I selected the customized treatment, the “start treatment” button wouldn’t work. Tap, tap and hold, hold…..nothing. I exited the app and tried again. Nothing!!! For those interested in this mask, just know when purchasing you have two treatment options; both full face anti-aging or anti-blemish. You can manually turn the mask on and off and toggle between the two full face treatments. If you are looking for a customized treatment (I.e. anti-aging on forehead, eyes, and cheeks, and anti-blemish on your nose and chin) well….you are out of luck as the app simply doesn’t work. Clearly by the hundreds of one star reviews neither Qure nor the developer care about the entire product, rather, invest in influencers to promote their product while not investing in the technology to support their product. Buy fully informed.

I guess you can select what configuration you want for your treatment which I don’t even use because I only use it on the anti aging setting for my full face. other that that the app is useless. It perpetually displays that the battery is half full no matter how much you charge the device and you have no idea the device is low on battery until it just suddenly dies. Dynamic text not properly supported

I had difficulty setting up the app because it doesn’t properly support dynamic text enlargement. Leaving parts of the information interface not working. I had to go into my phone’s accessibly settings and turn it off, causing the text to be so small I almost couldn’t read what information it wanted from me. This is not a friendly app for visually impaired people. Every time I use it I have to reset my dynamic text in order for certain actions to work. I have many apps on my phone and I use them on daily and weekly basis, this is the only one I have to change a phone setting to use. I love my Qure mask but I’m not sure I will continue to use this frustrating app.
