I’ve used better HSA apps/banks. I have to re-enable setting up FaceID after every three logins or so, which completely defeats the purpose of having FaceID as an option to begin with. The least it could do is remember my password instead of having to type it in, but it doesn’t even do that. The actual HSA bank takes several days to show funds, let alone post them, to use once they’ve been deposited directly from the employer. I was paid on Friday and here it is the following Tuesday, and I still can’t access my money to buy prescriptions. Frustrating to say the least when the app isn’t user friendly and then the bank isn’t great either.

I have to use this bank to keep up with my HSA through my employer. I hate it! This app is all over the place as far as what covers as medical expenses. Using the eligibility scanner tells you an item is eligible and when it’s time to pay, it gets declined saying it’s not eligible. Even through that item falls under the medical expense. How is customer service going to tell me that feminine products aren’t considered a medical expense, BUT YOUR APP HAS A SECTION TO PURCHASE HSA APPROVED FEMININE PRODUCTS!! DUHH!!🥴🥴🥴 Then speaking to a customer service rep, they are the most rudest people ever. Don’t know how to speak to their clients and have a very condescending attitude. I had a rep by the name of Vanessa who told me I need to go by the IRS site and keep up with the list of qualifying medical expenses when it is YOU who needs to keep up with it. I am using YOUR bank so you need to update YOUR service. Customer service is getting a bit too comfortable behind the phone with how they speak to their clients.

If you are an employer, looking for a company to assist with medical accounts for your employees, please please please stay far away from HSA. This company has the worst service and customer service I have dealt with in a long time. The app and website are not helpful and very hard to log into. The 24 hour customer service is never helpful. To login you consistently have to re-verify yourself and the process is time-consuming and tedious. It’s not simple to submit all expenses either. This company very frequently does not accept the invoices sent out by medical offices and it is extremely hard to get the exact type of invoice. This company requires for reimbursement. Next, when you use your card for a payment, the payment is made, then later declined due to lack of verification. Just stay away, stay far far away and do not add this stress and frustration to your employees. They don’t deserve it.

I am actively trying to get employer to ditch HSA bank.
