App doesn’t work with WiFi, cellular data only

Yeah, seems to work well when it does not work with Wi-Fi enable the phone. It only wants to work when cellular data is connected with the app..I consistently get off-line notification when I’m on Wi-Fi. I have to disable Wi-Fi and have cellular data only and then I can connect with the app and use the app.Otherwise, the app seems to work fine from what I can tell, but Wi-Fi would be preferable as an option like all other apps than using data only

Overall pretty smooth sailing. Would like to see some enhancements to loading within the app as it can be slow even on a good network. In flight WiFi would be great on these flights, but I get it’s a value airline and I always have a great experience. Nicknamed it ‘Fun Country’. Definitely miss the cheeseburgers on flights from MSP to NYC. YUMMY! Overall, Sun Country is one of the better budget airlines. Appreciate them and the random, super cheap flights to Dallas. $39 round trip, non stop is a steal! And I even get a seat inside the plane and not on the wing like Frontier.

It was my first time flying with Sun Country. I downloaded the app thinking I would be able to get boarding passes and receive flight status/updates, but sadly I was not able to. Our gate changed and our flight was delayed and I wouldn’t have known that without checking the boards at the airport. I did receive an email regarding the delay, but I’m not looking at my email that often. App notifications or even texts would be way better. The only thing I was able to do on the app was check in, but there’s really no point in the app since it doesn’t provide anything useful.

The app runs very slow on my satellite internet, more so than any other. Sometimes indicates I’m offline when I’m not. Apparently app can’t access past trips - when I search for them app says it can’t access it and to call Sun Country. Not being able to get receipts for past trips in one place is a huge omission for business travelers, I have to search my emails instead.
