DriveWell Go gives you feedback about your driving, helping you become a safer and better driver. DriveWell Go automatically detects when driving starts and stops, and uses the phone’s sensors to measure your vehicle’s driving dynamics. It uses low-power sensing methods to reduce battery consumption. The app shows you trip summaries, details on maneuvers, and gives you useful feedback to become a better driver. It also acts a low-power logger of all of your driving trips. This version of the application supports the DriveWell Tag device. By linking seamlessly with the smartphone app, the tag accurately calculates vehicle maneuvers. The DriveWell tag requires a bluetooth connection. DriveWell Go runs in the background and uses GPS. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. A valid registration token is needed to use this app.

App Doesn’t Work

Unless you have it set to “always allow” in regards to tracking your location. I don’t want the app to always know where I am. Feels like an invasion of privacy. If you want it to track your stats while you drive it works fine, but if you set it to anything except always allow it locks up the app and won’t let you do anything until you change that setting.

I am currently sitting at a 48 after months of using this ridiculous app! I literally never use my phone when driving even before I installed this app yet I always get dinged for phone usage. No matter what it literally ALWAYS says I’m speeding - partly because it’s inaccurate and very outdated. For example, I noticed the other day it said the speed limit was 55 when the posted speed limit on the highway clearly stated 55.

Definitely not accurate, I have never in my life used my phone while driving but the app took off points for using my phone…. Every time I stop at a stop sign it takes off for braking.
