Left Wink for Vera Ezlo plus. The support is great. All but two devices converted. It appears the current version of the app does not handle all the functionality of the Ezlo plus. Geofence is not even in the menus even though I get notices on my phone that Ezlo is using my location. Alerts don’t seem to work. Connectivity to Google Home doesn’t work. The documentation out there doesn’t match the menus in this app. To set notifications I had to go to the website and set them there. I have been told a new app is in development. I have about 30 devices working now. The dashboard design is great. Hope that doesn’t change. Waiting patiently. I think it will be a great product.

Wanna Stay Healthy Dude
The VeraPlus Advanced Home Controller isn’t the most intuitive thing to set up using this app or the WebUI. However with all of the incredible capabilities for controlling devices once you get them set up is extremely empowering in so many ways! Not only can you observe the status and control so many devices throughout your home and property but you can do it from virtually anywhere! One of the most amazing aspects of this app and VeraPlus Controller along with the devices you add & control is the incredible technical support staff! I’d have to rate this product support group as the most responsive and helpful support I’ve ever dealt with, by far! Quick responses to my original question to setup the controller and for all my follow-up questions to setup a Z-Wave deadbolt and PIN codes with start & end dates & times. Once they explained what I was missing, the regular operation of these tasks are easily repeatable and flawless in their performance. These tools along with their responsive support team are Game Changers! Thanks Vera.

Great Product and "honest" business model

For full disclosure: I am using Vera for many many years and come to enjoy the reliability and straightforward business model (NO monthly subscritpions! They are doing it the "honest" way: produce good HW, sell it at a good price AND provide good customer support).The reason I'm doing a review right now: My Vera Plus stopped working. Oh no! 50 Z-wave devices are dead (some not really accessibel behind furniture). I so dreaded unpairing all those, and migrating to a new unit.Turns out, Vera support was super cool: I opened a ticket, they assigned a support person, asked for a time-/date-slot at which I could be contacted. All within 48hours. The person called on-time(!), asked for remote access (like: remote desktop/teamviewer) and I watched him fixing the problem in ~20minutes. Turns out, the problem was an old App (Plug-in) I had loaded years earlier to test and and never really used it... but forgot to remove it also. It just sat there, unsupported by the plug-in dev and it caused memory exhaustion in the Vera unit. After removing it, doing a garbage mem collection, the Vera runs like new.Back to Vera's "honest" business model: no subscritpion and STILL reliable support. How many companies fall in to the "Greed Trap" as I call it, to force customers into subscription models. It's only good for the constant revenue stream of the company and very seldom provides benefits for the customer. I avoid subscriptions like the plague.If all sounds over-the-top, sorry: I am that impressed with Vera and feel confirmed in that opinion after the last unit-recovery/remote-support. Cheers! Lutz
