They need to go back to version 2.0.7. As of right now 2.0.9 is FTB. Best version to date is 2.0.7. Currently it rarely loads the favorites and notifications. Always shows unsupported with them hidden. Whatever they did from 2.0.7 to now must be completely undone. It’s getting worse and worse. Roll out 2.0.7 as 2.0.10 and start over!
Was working well, now constantly crashing
I avoided the old apt, just used a vpn running on a $20 RP 2 within my LAN and a Safari window to get directly to my hub. Expected to do the same, ignoring the new app. But came to really like it. The geolocation settings were easier to use and very reliable (once I relocated the red pin to where my hub actually was). Indeed, I had given up on Hubitat geolocation, using Alexa instead. Was happy to be able to ditch Alexa and dependence on the cloud.
Lately, though, the app (version 2.02) crashes every 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Sad to see as I am a great fan of Hubitat. I am happily a beta tester for platform versions and expect, consequently, that there will be bugs. But, I am disappointed to be, involuntarily, a beta tester for the app. And, while I never used the old app, many did; why withdraw it without having a prime-time ready replacement?
Rooting for Hubitat and better experiences ahead.
New Hubitat User
My Sengled hub and devices all stopped working a few weeks ago. I waited several days, hoping that things would come back online, but it seems that they are out of business so I bought a Hubitat hub. Every time I open the Hubitat Elevation app it says 'Reconnecting to hub' in a light yellow error box that never goes away. I switch from the home tab to devices tab to dashboard to notifications and back again and that little yellow error box always comes right back up.
I am unable to control any devices directly from the app but the schedules I set up work.
