I’m a new user of Avast Security and, so far, I’m very pleased with the service.But… I have run into a couple of problems while using the iOS app on my iPhone.I haven’t been able to verify my email address. For some strange reason, although my email address is listed correctly in the Manage Account section, but whenever I enter it on the Data Breach Monitoring page to turn on that feature, the app automatically changes my email address by inserting three extra characters in front of it. I sent an email to the Avast support team from within the app (which the app indicated had, indeed, been sent). But that was a few days ago, and I still haven’t heard anything from them.I also tried to turn on 2-step verification in the app. I went to Account Settings, and clicked on the “Turn on 2-step verification” link under the Security heading. When I did that, a white screen popped open with a message that simply read “Please verify it’s you to turn on 2-step verification.”The problem is, after trying to scroll down to find the option to verify my identity, I didn’t find one. The white screen only had the aforementioned message and a small x in the upper right corner to close the screen.When I closed that screen, I was back on the Account Settings screen and was again shown the same “Turn on 2-step verification” link under the Security section. That screen hadn’t changed. It still didn’t give me the option to verify my identity.So I sent a message to the Avast support team about this new problem. And I’m still waiting to hear something from them…
