I’m disappointed they got rid of their early deposit feature. That was the best part of the app and now it’s gone since they updated. Not to mention they’re very inconsistent with their direct deposit dates. Overall, the app now just feels empty with a lot of white space and their best feature gone. The credit score check is good though.

The decision to completely pull all mobile banking offline and simultaneously discontinue all customer service for five days (October 2025) would’ve been the last straw for us after several years of continuously declining customer experience with Honor CU, but a family member was determined to remain loyal so we tried. But to then resume business after five days of a service blackout by releasing a mandatory “app update” that will not accept any of your existing identity verification credentials and require you to type in your full social security number before you can even access any of your accounts or mobile banking is absurd. This credit union has hit rock bottom for customer experience. Deleted the app.

The app was shut down for days for this update and then when it was finished updating, it has taken away the ability to post my check early which is a huge inconvenience because I always rely on getting my check early. Very frustrating and unfortunate. My external account was also unlinked that I transfer money to, to pay my auto loan payment. 0/10 update. Very disappointed with this.

The decision to pull online features for EVERYONE for multiple days was seriously heinous. As someone who develops for a school, your company should be ashamed. We have just as many important deadlines but would never THINK to drop such a necessity for so many days. On top of that, you roll out the new app with even LESS features than the admittedly already bare bones app you were previously using? Genuinely switching banks because of this.
