Viking Voyager 4+

There truly isn’t anything to add to my five star rating other than to say that I don’t ever give them. It seems as though there is always room for improvement … however, there’s always a first time.
The Viking Cruise line gets my highest rating available because they deserve it. Full Stop! From the seemingly 1:1 ratio of staff to guests that allow them to meet every little desire - they go out of the way to make sure that each and every day of your cruise is better than the day before! Staff are smiling and attentive, happy and extremely willing to go any extra mile you’d like (and it is amazing what they can do!)
And the food? Specialty restaurants highlighting local fresh ingredients and even opportunities to go shopping with a chef and then a chance to return to the kitchen on the ship and cook alongside -preparing what was just locally purchased.
The opportunities for the daily experiences are wonderful and there’s almost always something to find to do at the right fitness level and just full of new and interesting
experiences!
Brand new ships, younger and talented ( musically) many of the staff also play music in various areas on the ship. Attention has been paid for to every little detail - want something more or different? Just ask:)
Do yourself a favor and book a Viking Cruise - you will treasure it’s memories forever

We had an outstanding experience in our first Viking ocean cruise. The ship was magnificent, the stateroom was spacious, great shower, larger balcony, incredible service from crew, interesting lecturers, wonderfully relaxing events, enjoyable musical entertainment, and food was a whole next level. We were very impressed and we are experienced cruisers who have been on many different cruise lines. This was a luxury cruise at a very reasonable price with all the extras included: very enjoyable excursions, afternoon teas with amazing finger sandwiches and delights, etc. They gave us a very memorable week that we truly treasured. We can easily brag on Viking for the cruising experience they provided. Thank you so much.

I love the idea of the app and it worked, but I think they need to make a lot more changes. It seemed super easy to navigate, but I wasn’t able to do a whole lot with it and I’m pretty tech savvy. I tried booking reservations at a specialty restaurant and it only allowed me to book for Saturday & Sunday which both days didn’t really work with our schedule. Went down to the restaurant to ask about reservations for Tuesday & the person at the desk automatically made our reservations. Doesn’t do a good job of showing your schedule days in advance, and don’t bother booking excursions through it because it won’t give you all of the options. It gave me notifications about my excursions every day 30 minutes before the start time, BUT that was pretty much useless because by that time I was already on the tender boat going to the excursion. I did an ocean cruise so not sure if the results would be different with a river cruise.
