Folio: Digital Wallet App 4+

Just loving the Product!

I installed the app, and it had a few mis picture problems in the start, however once redoing the retake it went through just fine. I’m curious though who will except the cards on the phone, like fore instance will the police during traffic stops except it(I speak of tuteen stops of when the stop everyone for license and insurance). I would not use it if he were giving me a ticket, because, I would not like my phone out of my sight. Passport will they except it going through customers? Just thoughts that would be good to know before going through lines and if they would except.
I love the point of having it all in one place and it’s held neat and easy to get to.

ID Verification?

Not sure why the developers are using the heavy handed push for a selfie to “verify” that the ID provided by me is actually me? I mean, couldn’t I swap pics on the ID to begin with? Under what authority were you planning on verifying my ID anyways?Besides, with us switching over to a National Identification System like the good people in China have been provided to them by their government, I’m sure we’ll soon learn that the COVID vaccine mandates went over so well that one of their forward thinkers decided, “why not mandate a implantable microchip next? Heck, if they accepted the COVID shot so easily we can certainly pull off convincing them that’s a good idea 😂.
Forgive my lack of trust but please understand we’re living under a government who’s forcing us to submit to a national ID with absolutely no benefit to the people which is sketchy already given this is the same group of intellects who purchased antivirus from a country that they’ve told us is the enemy all our lives, and then complained that this software they purchased from their enemy may have been used to spy on them.
Not the group I’d like responsible for safeguarding all my info and certainly can’t trust an app maker in a different country to do it either.
I’ll stick with the unverified ID but thank you.

Excellent Wallet app with terrible and inaccurate documentation

Folio Wallet is the best iPhone Wallet app I've found for storing a wide range of identification cards. Apple Wallet is great for bank credit and debit cards, but Folio Wallet so let's me store health insurance, library, museum, and virtually any other kind of ID or membership cards. It's a beautiful app and easy to use.

The app is very secure and goes to extreme lengths to protect your personal information. This is ordinarily a very good thing. However it also makes it extremely difficult to export or transfer your card information when migrating your account to a new phone. The app itself provides no information whatsoever about backing up or restoring your account and card information, and the Folio Wallet website provides outdated and inaccurate instructions. I spent several weeks with the Support team figuring it out and only after extraordinary effort was able to restore my account to my new phone.
