All of my contacts with the Medical professionals I have encountered, as well as the ancillary staff (from security to transportation, etc.) have been polite, compassionate, and encouraging. I would like to especially acknowledge the chemo nurses I’ve had since resuming chemo post surgery. They are professional, yet talk to you in a manner that lets you know that they see you as a person, not just a patient with cancer. They check on personal needs (I.e food, drink, etc). And they don’t mind a little chat when they’re in the room, but leave politely when it’s time to move on to the next patient. I apologize that I can’t recall the name of the first nurse I encountered when I resumed treatment, but she said she was a floater. My successive 3 nurses were Nicole - (infusion 3D), Robert-(infusion 3D) and Richard-Infusion (3B). Thank you all for your kindness, compassion, and patience.

My husband Lynn has been receiving chemotherapy here at The City of Hope in Newman Ga since April 17th 2024. I can honestly say that the people that work here are very genuinely helpful. They go above and beyond to help you anyway they can. From making sure Lynn has a warm blanket when he is chilled or giving him juice or sandwiches if he is hungry. The nurses are also super sweet to both of us. They take care of me also. We have never had a bad moment here. The Cafeteria serves some of the best food here. Really good tasting and delicious!! It’s cheaper to eat here than it is to go to a restaurant. We are so grateful that we were referred here by a friend who was also a chemotherapy patient here and is now in remission!!!!!! TWO THUMBS WAY UP from this happy family! We have told everyone that we know about the kindness and compassion that we have received here!!!

If you have cancer, City Of Hope is your best option for survival. It’s just that simple. The app keeps you in touch with everything and keeps you organized and when you are having trouble with organization because of all the doctors or surgeries or medicines… the app keeps you locked in and you know what’s going on and when. I am just so impressed with City Of Hope and every part of my treatment care doctors everything… it is just really top notch and everybody tries really hard and cares and I think that is probably the biggest thing that people will notice. Yes there is probably large numbers of people that get sick and that they help but you wouldn’t know it by how they treat you. They save lives. Period.

Since I was blessed with the opportunity to be seen at City of Hope Upland, I was given given the link to the app. The ease and the the ability to see, connect and submit documents goes without question. I can ask my Oncologist a question, see my test results, schedule appointments and get my visit details to name some of the many things you can do. I wanted to add that the service I have received at City Of Hope goes beyond any type of service I have ever received in any doctor’s office. The staff is friendly and diligent. My doctor is fantastic and follows up immediately with any concern that I might have. I cannot say enough about this entire organization!
