I am using this for puppies. It would be great to see all the puppies at one time and there weight gains. A graph or spreadsheet type out out would be great. Or even a print option to print the charts out for the new parents.

So, I got the scale with the app for not exactly baby purposes. We have cats & when one of them got really sick I researched scales & apps to see if I can easily track it nstead of keeping an excel spreadsheet. This seemed like a great solution so I went with it. I uploaded all of my cats and went backwards entering their weights from when they were little to see the progress. Loved the app as every time I did the weighing the scale pushed the weight in and I got to pick which (not human) baby I assigned it to. Until just recently when we adopted an 8-week old kitten and I proudly wanted to add her to the app. Some genius decided that in order to add a ‘baby’ it is a requirement to put their weight & length, but on top of it, anything that is less than a human baby’s values it will not let you add the profile in. This is a new thing where they force you to do it. Didn’t use to be a year ago. So I contacted the customer service and I got a condescending response that the app is meant for human babies. What is it to them if I use it for a human baby or a kitten? How long do you use this app & scale for a baby? Not for long & then what, throw it out? With kittens & cats you get to use the app & the scale for many years so the genius that decided this is just for human babies, think again. Your marketing department doesn’t think much I’d assume or you wouldn’t be limiting this to human babies only.

I've been using this app to track my baby's weight and height. The bluetooth sync is handy, but only works when the app is on and the phone doesn't fall asleep before you get your baby to stay still on the scale. Then if you upgrade your phone and sign into the app on the new phone none of the data you've entered is there. Apparently there is a way to sync the data to a new phone in the help screen, but it doesn't work.So beware if you decide to use this scale and app, you may not be able to upgrade your phone unless you're prepared to re-enter all your data again by hand.

I‘m rating this 2-stars mainly because the app appears to be abandoned - last time it was updated was 2 years ago. There are so many basic features missing: Import/export data, graph for custom date range (currently you can only view prior week, prior month, or All), quick Unit (cm v. inches) toggle (currently you have to go to Settings), View graph of multiple kids at once (hello… twins!), to name a few. Unfortunately you don’t have the option to use a different app with the Smart Baby scale, so you are stuck with the app.
