Makes random sessions on its own.

I love the pump and the app but there are a few things that i don’t like. 1. Sometimes the app record’s pumping sessions that never happened. Makes me crazy because i have to think really hard if i forgot to write down how much i pumped but i know there have been recorded times where i wasn’t home and didn’t have my pumps or was asleep and there it is in my chart. 2. I don’t love that you cannot change the set time of 25 mins per session. I do get more when i do 35 so i have to restart the pump once it hots 25 mins

This review is for the Willow Go. I like the features the app provides but the app is extremely buggy and ruins the user experience. The battery level never displays as full even when fully charged (pump is brand new), and will sometimes change on relaunching the app. The pump timer feature is great but 90% of the time it will only stop one of the pumps at the end of the timer, and then the time counts back upward from the set time. Suction strength setting is also great but it defaults back to manual almost every time I open the app. I have to toggle back to it in the settings to get it to follow the program. Finally, the app takes forever to connect to the pumps and half the time it will only connect to one of them. The only fix is to force close and relaunch the app. The app would be awesome if these issues were fixed. I am using the most up to date version of all software and firmware, and on a new iPhone. The fact that these features work as they seem they should only occasional makes me think they are just bugs that can conceivably be fixed if Willow really wanted a good user experience. Given how longstanding the complaints over the app seem to be, I’m unsure how interested they really are in this, which is lame, but I eagerly await any improvement.

great pumps, terrible app
I love my pumps and intended “smartness” of the app. Although I do think the app needs some attention; if you don’t connect your pumps at the beginning of your session it does not keep track of the session timer for you and will continue pumping. The session history screens glitch and most times i just write in my notes app my output to put in the app at a later time. another thing is the bluetooth - if i pump in the car my pumps mess up my bluetooth pairing for my music and make my songs sound like a broken cd. lastly, if you don’t connect you pumps to the app at beginning of session then they will stay on the lowest suction the whole pump and output nothing. again rated 3 stars because i love my pumps but the app is pretty close to useless.

For the price of this product and all the parts to be an exclusive pumper the purpose is to make a moms life easier… however I spend more time trying to get the app to work than just hooking up to my at home pump! One pump usually connects perfectly but the other one always has issues connecting. Most of the time it forgets saved my settings so while I’m feeding my baby I have to struggle to use one hand to quickly get the app up and see if it’s actually working or having the constant issues adjusting settings. Because the app has so many issues syncing with the pumps I have to constantly check the app during pumping because I don’t trust the pumps anymore and since there isn’t a visual display on the pumps themselves you have to rely on the terrible app.
