I have to change my rating. I wasn’t a fan of the new app. Once downloaded my remote capabilities ceased to exist. I could not communicate with the vehicle. It has been at the dealer for a week trying to fix the problems. The vehicle status only reports from the last time it worked back in August. Please return to the old format. In addition I appreciated that I had to enter a passcode to use the remote features. Thank you for working with the service team to resolve the issues with my remote starter. Picked up my car yesterday and I have function again. Looking forward to the upcoming updates. Hopefully you can fix the alert notifications to let us know the issue, ease of logging on, and reliability of commands, and the tracking, I don’t want data gathered on my driving to be a contingency of my using the app. I would like a choice. Thanks again.

We are sorry to hear that there has been some hardware issues on your vehicle. A few days ago, I got the notification that the previous Remote/Enform app was being sunsetted and to update to this one. So I have... and I have no idea why. While the UI/UX is much cleaner and has a more ‘stable’ feel to it, there is virtually zero functionality. I have a map of the last place I parked, and a panel for scheduling service. That’s it, for a 2015 RCF. What was the point of this? Ever since I moved back to the US with this car, which was a US registered vehicle for manufacture in the first place, bought from a US subsidiary overseas, none of the Enform features seem to work properly, at least initially. It’s always a months long fight to get these things fixed. I’ve successfully used the Remote app after much headache for the entirety of last year, but now (even though it shows my subscription being active) I cannot do so through this app. No health check, no fuel indication, no markers, not start/stop/lock/unlock, etc.. I am not sure what Lexus is thinking, but they are progressively generating worse and worse apps as time goes on it seems. For the amount of $ I paid for those flagship coupe, you’d figure I would get basic functionality of lesser tier brands, let alone even less expensive models from Lexus themselves. As the title says, I am truly baffled.

Phone App Ok, Watch App a Disastert
Watch OS 7, IOS14, used to work fine in iOS 13, now was prompting to register a car, now prompts to log into the phone. Phone is logged into, app was deleted and reinstalled and logged into. Watch app was deleted and reinstalled. No change. Can use all functions from the phone but the watch is a disaster. What’s the point of having the watch app?
You keep telling all of us here in your responses here that your “checking into the compatibility” of the app with IOS 14 and watch OS 7. The betas have been out since July, you didn’t see this coming? You had all this time to prepare the same as any other app devs. There have been a ton of updates but none that I have seen from you guys. For the amount of money we pay for our wonderful Lexus cars and for those that are forced to subscribe, this is a disgrace! My friends with Fords have apps that work far better. Lexus has always been a step behind with car tech while BMW always leads the way. It’s time to hire some competent software engineers to get the job done.
