General bug fixing
Ratings and Reviews
I’d like to start off by saying this game is a great concept, however, you say that you have fixed the building issue yet whenever I try to build/upgrade my game crashes. I am running the game on an iPhone 12 Pro, I don’t know if that matters or not. The zoomed feature is good, but when zoomed out different textures bug out and glitch. You should consider changing the resolution when zoomed out to fix this issue. The fixed joystick needs to be changed IMMEDIATELY. You need to add different control schemes because everybody has their own play style. Preferably a free floating joystick would be great. Everybody could benefit from this. Lastly, I think I speak for everyone when I say a multiplayer aspect could be phenomenal, emphasis on COULD BE. To summarize, building and upgrading bug is still occurring, zoomed out textures are glitchy, needs multiple control schemes, multiplayer COULD be added but isn’t something that is needed to make this a good game.
About the complainers
I saw a lot of haters in the comment session downvoting the game because “it is too difficult”. Seriously, the game is not that difficult once you know the mechanics and how it works. You would need to stay hidden and use sneak most of the times unless you have something like an AK, not mentioning that it has to be in a decent condition. Just be patient and grind for the resources; that’s just how the game works. Once you have put enough time and accumulated enough resources, the game just became a pure enjoyment. Also, once you have unlocked all 5 characters, you don’t need to worry about waiting since you can have one character looting, during which the other characters would heal up in no time, providing that you have upgraded your hospitals, etc. to a high level. I used to be miserable and whine about the game as well since I die too often, and every time that happened I was devastated since all loots are lost; the ultimate tip here is that don’t be greedy! Keeping your current loot and head back base is just a much more considerate decision than risk dying. All in all, I think that this game is fantastic and I’ve been spending hours and hours grinding, and it’s a lot of fun to me. Keep it up developers! You’ve earned the support from us lovers!
A beautiful, buggy messterpiece
I was hasty in my initial judgement. Partly because I went in expecting this to be the same as the first Mini DayZ. However, this game, as an idea, is incredible in its own right too. Melee and zombie avoidance becomes much more viable unlike the first Mini DayZ, and there’s this legitimate feeling of fear that arises as you struggle to gather whatever scrap and materials you can to upgrade your base. And the base building mechanic itself isn’t terrible at all. The currency “Fuel” doesn’t actually allow you to become a pay to win player, rather it simply lets you upgrade buildings that can heal your survivors and repair your items at a faster rate. Of course, there are still bugs. At the early stages of your base, sometimes you won’t be able to upgrade your buildings even though nothing is being upgraded at the time, or you have enough lumber. And the item icons sometimes glitch onto your screen while dragging them across and into your inventories. Other times, you might become glitched while leaving a zone, and will be forced to close the game window and reopen it. But all in all, there’s a much more encompassing feeling of DayZ on mobile that’s done much better here than the first Mini DayZ. To that, I say, well done developers.
