I have terrible heartburn which was compounded by my job in the hospital, terrible eating habits, weight gain and stress during the pandemic. I was so lucky to get to work with Oshi Health, specifically Kaitlin, my dietician and Taylor, my health coach (I also got a “care coordinator”, Neha who was awesome). They worked with me to not only identify triggers (stuff I wouldn’t have obviously noted or guessed on my own) and to deal with them in a sustainable way!! They were super accessible, detail oriented, and non judgemental (so important). Essentially, they reviewed food and symptom logs with me frequently (added accountability so I actually filled them out) and then checked in via text/phone calls/video chats. They offered thoughts and solutions on small lifestyle adjustments (including sending me recipes). I really grew as a person during my time working with them and actually feel like a more balanced human now. I definitely recommend for anyone struggling with heartburn, consultation, diarrhea (or both, lol), nausea, or abdominal pain!

My experience with Oshi Health started with promise but quickly soured. Initially, their care seemed promising, but over time it became clear that they were more focused on ensuring I had one visit per month—presumably to charge my insurance—than on providing effective or ongoing support. Between visits, communication was minimal, and the care plan didn’t feel impactful or tailored to my needs. It felt like the process was going nowhere.The situation worsened when I requested a simple letter for FSA reimbursement. I was told I needed to reestablish care and of course pay again, for a letter based on advice from an earlier appointment in January 2024, which seemed like an unnecessary step. To make matters worse, they even attempted to charge my insurance for a visit that never happened, further eroding my trust.Overall, the lack of meaningful progress, minimal communication, and what felt like a revenue-driven focus made the experience frustrating and not worth the cost. I hope Oshi reassesses their priorities and focuses more on effective, patient-centered care rather than maximizing billing opportunities.

I have had two different appointments now through this service and I am very impressed. Both providers gave me more than enough time and allowed for open discussion on possible ways to treat and what would be best for me in my current health state right now. First, I met with the GI Provider, we spoke in length of my medical history and what has and hasn’t worked. She made recommendations and set up further referrals. I then met with a Registered Dietitian who helped me look into building a stronger nutritional foundation to help alleviate my ongoing GI symptoms. A few calculated changes have been implemented so far with big results. So glad to have found OSHI Health. I would definitely recommend this service if you’re looking for providers to truly listen and take the time to understand how they can help you.

I started with GI issues time ago, however I did not know I have access to Oshi, until I needed to have an online consultation. I am so relieve, that I have my gastro, a nutritionist and a GI behavioral specialist taking care of me. It has been a game change! I am still learning how to eat, what to do in case of a flare and learning how to deal with this change since my diagnosis of IBS. I am glad that it is not one consultation and a prescription, this holistic program for a year is super important as I have to learn and listen to ny body. It is a lot of work but I started feeling much better! Dr. Choi, Adequiz my nutritionist, and LaTia my GI behavioral guide are the best team of professionals.
