The Philips HearLink 2 App is compatible with all Philips Bluetooth® hearing aids. However, some app features may require a specific hearing aid model or a firmware update. Please consult your hearing care professional for assistance with firmware updates.

With Philips HearLink 2, you can:

• Adjust the volume of your hearing aids and various settings (e.g. remote microphone, noise reduction, and sound and streaming equalizer)
• Switch between predefined programs according to the different listening situation you are in
• Monitor your battery levels
• Help you find your hearing aids if you lose them
• Use your device as a remote microphone and get better access to the voice of another speaker in noisy environments
• Customize your surrounding sounds with the sound equalizer
• Set and track hearing aid wear-time goals with the Philips Journal feature
• Use the streaming equalizer for a personalized listening experience. The streaming equalizer is available for all Philips HearLink Bluetooth hearing aids except Philips HearLink 2000 and 3000
• Have your hearing aids adjusted and receive counseling from the comfort of your own home – via a live video call with your hearing care professional
• Handle wireless accessories paired with your hearing aids; control multiple TV Adapters or devices, such as AudioClip, which can be used both for streaming and as a remote microphone

Not entirely useless, but still stinks

Every time I want to listen to something via Bluetooth, I have to restart my hearing aids. Not sometimes, not most of the time, EVERY time. The app doesn’t often drop the connection, but when it does, I again have to restart. I have to wonder how much effort Philips put into the “find my hearing aids” feature. After all, if you can’t find your hearing aids, how can you restart them so the app can connect to them and find them? It’s a useless feature because of the connection problems, and the effort would have been better spent on making the app work. Philips, you say you’re sorry, and we should call you for workarounds. Honestly, we don’t care that your sorry, and we don’t want your workarounds. We want an app that does what it’s supposed to do WITHOUT apologies or workarounds. When it’s time for me to replace my hearing aids, I won’t be buying Philips.

This app is working very well for me

I worried about the low reviews on this app and have held off downloading to my second device as a result until trying in on my phone. However, to my surprise this app has given me no issues whatsoever in my first month of daily use. It will stream directly to my hearing aids, to my bluetooth speakers or my phone and back and fort as desired.

For example, in the car using navigation while my husband was driving, I briefly turned off Bluetooth so the sound came through my phone speaker for my husband to hear. When finished, I simply turned Bluetooth back on and opened the hearling 2 app to return streaming to my hearing aids. This technique has worked each and every time I’ve needed to switch from another device back to my hearing aids. I am very pleased with both my hearing aids and this app, and wish to extend my appreciation to the creators. It has definitely improved my quality of life!

My main concern with the app relates to privacy, what data is collected and what is done with my personal data. I would like to know how I can opt out of HearLink 2 sharing or selling the data it collects on me. I have read the privacy policy and definitely have concerns out all the data stated which is being collected and would very much appreciate a response to this concern and how I can opt out and protect my privacy. Thank you in advance.

HearLinkApp

Like the hearing aids but very disappointed with the app. It frequently quits and, even when it’s working, it fail to report wearing data. Have reinstalled the app twice which temporarily helped but then the problems return. There are other issues but not sure if it relates to the app or hearing aids. Regret I bought the Philips hearing aids. Surprised Philips appears to have outsourced the app. I see the app only got 2 out of 5 stars. That says a lot! Recently updated the app and it appears to have resolved the above issues!!! 👏👏👏

Oops, problems have resurfaced again. Not reporting data and occasional app quitting. This is very frustrating. I’ve given up on this app. Next time I’ll do some research on an app before I need purchase new hearing aids. It won’t be Philips.

I’ve had it working this app. I’ve tried everything to make it work but still can’t get consistent data reporting. This should be that difficult. I won’t recommend Philips hearing aids and, when these need to be replaced, I’ll try another brand. 🥵
