Happy Lemon is one of my favorite boba shops. I’m glad I can finally earn points and make my purchases count for something.The app was laggy when I first tried to download but after moving to an area with better signal, it was able to instantaneously register my info and the text to confirm my account was super quick. No lag on my end anymore so I’m sure it was just a connection issue, not an app issue.

Horrible UX. Instead of selecting from a list of pre-defined favorite drinks like before, now I need to go through 10 steps: scroll menu, select drink, select cold level, select sugar level, select topping, select pick up time, select tip, select card, click submit, confirm store. All of these just to order 1 drink. If I want to buy 2 drinks, the whole process would take me 15 steps. By the time I’m done with ordering I have already lost my appetite. Ordering alone took me 5 minutes as each step has a delay. You can simply set a default pick up time instead of forcing customers to manually select 10 minutes as the earliest time. You can default the keyboard to number instead of making people to change the keyboard to select tips.Honestly I would prefer the previous version. It wasn’t great but at least it was easy to use.

Have question regarding their old reboot card and tried to chat with them but was route back to the contact them page. Enter all info and sent to them 2 weeks ago. No response at all. Since then, resent couple times but still no response. What type of customer support do they have??? Ordering ahead via the App have also bad experience. The worker at Foster City Branch did not serve app order on a first come first serve basis. They just randomly pick a ticket from the stack of print out orders so we had to wait 6 more minutes after their suggested ready time. Guess would go less to Happy Lemon until their app improves. If they are not ready for the app, do not launch it.

Right across the street from where I work, so perfect location to walk to on my lunch break! Staff is always friendly, and the store is always clean. They even have lots of seating if you want to enjoy your drink in the store.
